Unit was fully furnished, and even came stocked with coffee for our morning dip in the pool! Incredible hospitality, and perfect location for those who like it a bit quieter. Will definitely recommend, and stay again when we come back. Thank you so much, to the entire team!

The lodge has the kindest and most helpful staff. The cabins were clean, well-stocked, and a joy to stay in. I saw several Toucans, and the food was fabulous!

Very friendly staff. Pool and hiking trail onsite. Restaurant had great options. It's close to town and the tour companies will come pick you up. Wifi in the room was good.

Very nice lodge, especially all info about trees and other species. We loved the fire pit and the candles they lit every evening. The rooms are basic and thin walls. The resturant was ok, the breakfast menu was great with a lot of options. Definitely stay here again for a few days. Its 2 km from town, so a car is recommended.

The room and the kitchen were spotless and very adorable. You are treated with kindness. Even the cleaning staff remembers your name. We love this place. We’ve already booked a stay for next year. The jungle is just beautiful. The restaurant on site named Fiona was excellent also. You would do well and be very happy staying here.

It’s very cute, good location, excellent surrounding area of each little cabin. Laundry services and they seem eager to be helpful in every way.

Our stay at Maya Mtn Lodge was great. It was a quaint little place in the jungle. Our room was clean and quiet. The staff was super nice and helpful. The restaurant staff were lovely, and the food was excellent. I did a birdwatching tour one morning, which was great. We saw many different types of birds that I had never seen in the wild before. We had a large shared covered deck area outside our room, which was a really peaceful area to hang out.

We loved our stay at The Maya Mountain Lodge. Though the rooms are not glamorous, the location was great and the staff absolutely outstanding. Every single staff member was attentive to our needs. They made our planning effortless by arranging everything for us. They greeted us with smiles and were knowledgeable of local flora and fauna and enjoyed sharing their knowledge with us. We will be repeat customers wirhout a doubt.

Rooms are a bit older but very clean. Beds not the most comfortable but otherwise no complaints. The staff, especially Levi, really went out of their way to ensure our stay was excellent. We had an issue with a tour not showing up (due to vehicle issue) and Levi was very responsive and helpful!

I loved everything about this property the rooms were clean and well equipped. The grounds were immaculate and there is a trail you can walk through the jungle. The meals were all as goid as any 5 star restaurant. Their chef could work in the finest restaurants and put everyone to shame. I had 2 massages and again they were amazing. On top of all this their staff are some of the most efficient caring and respectful I have ever come across.

Loved the jungle setting, am birding tour, exceptional vegetarian dinner. Cabin kitchen well equipped, friendly staff. Close to town. Secure parking. Fire pit was nice to meet other folks. A lovely local lodge.

Fantastic place in a jungle setting close to San Ignacio town. Individual cabins private a cozy and private feeling. The staff is very welcoming and work hard for their guests. We stayed in the Peace Apartment that has two bedrooms. It place has a 1950s motel feel - dated and a bit run down. Fiona’s restaurant does a very solid breakfast and dinner. The pool area is nice, but the water temp is chilly in January. Saw toucans and heard howler monkeys on the property. Very affordable, but not fancy.

Restaurant was well decorated, the staff was very friendly and food was delicious. We did 3 tours and they were all great. Tour payments need to be paid in cash or through a phone call, which seemed unusual but worked fine.

Our stay at The Maya Mountain Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The place is very cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful nature — exactly what we were looking for. The staff are extremely kind and helpful, and a special thanks goes to Cesar, who truly went above and beyond. We had unexpected difficulties at the Guatemala–Belize border and arrived very late, around 10:30 pm, but Cesar was still there waiting for us with a smile and made sure we felt welcome and taken care of. That meant a lot after such a stressful travel day. The restaurant food is delicious, easily one of the highlights of our stay. We also loved that the lodge offers several activities, including cooking classes. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very clean, providing great rest after full days of exploring.
