We had an absolutely incredible stay at Panacea in La Veleta and are already planning our next trip—this time for a much longer stay! The location couldn’t have been better. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to Calle 7 Sur, where you’ll find cafés, restaurants, and bars, making it easy to explore the neighborhood on foot while still enjoying a peaceful setting. The check-in process was seamless, and every single person we interacted with was genuinely warm, welcoming, and helpful. We rented bikes directly from the host for just 100 pesos each and spent the day riding to Aldea Zamá. It’s about a 15–20 minute ride. The roads are a bit rough in places since some are unpaved, but we expected that and still had a great time exploring. We stayed in the penthouse apartment, which included our own private rooftop pool. It was such a luxury to have our own space to relax, and we also had a beautiful view overlooking the main pool below. Although we never used the main pool, it looked gorgeous. The property also has a well-equipped gym on the first floor across from the pool with everything you need for a workout. One of our favorite parts of staying here was how peaceful it was. Every morning we woke up to the sound of birds singing, and we were always greeted by the sweetest resident cat. We went into Centro a couple of days and down to the beach to explore but you really don’t even have to leave the neighborhood. Can’t wait to book our next stay!

Panacea is a great place to stay in Tulum!

I had such a wonderful stay at Panacea and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Tulum! From the very beginning, the communication was outstanding. The team was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful, making everything feel easy and seamless from check-in to check-out. They were always quick to answer questions, offer recommendations, and help with anything I needed, which made the entire experience completely stress-free. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. It felt like the perfect place to relax while still being close to everything. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay. What really stood out was how effortless the whole experience felt. Great communication and genuine hospitality can make all the difference, and the Panacea team absolutely delivered. Thank you for such a fantastic stay - I would happily come back and stay here again!

Superb value for money. Apartment was clean and in good working order. Plenty of parking. Solid wifi connection. Staff were communicative and helpful. Location is also great; allows you to stroll into La Veleta for drinks and meals. Thoroughly recommended!

The staff was great with helping with recommendations. They responded quickly and were very professional and kind. It was a beautiful location and the neighborhood felt very safe.

Great space for a 2 week stay. Was clean, spacious and pool was perfect place to relax. Kitchen was fully equipped and a/c was working great. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing

There was no staff. It was a self checking in and nobody was there when I arrived. Ask when you get in I had to find somewhere else to stay. I was left stranded outside.

The pool and lounging area was amazing, staff was attentive to any needs we had and the bed is super comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful property with lovely staff and a sweet cat. Really quiet, pool was stunning.

There were two ACs (living room and bed room) which made everything super comfortable. We also had two patios which was great. There was nothing for basics (oil, salt, pepper, sugar etc). So cooking was somewhat limited but there were 3 plates, bowls, forks, a pot and a pan which worked well enough. The complex is really well kept and clean. Two pools with lots of seating; although it only gets afternoon sun from about 11-4/5. I’m not sure about cleaners, we had someone try to get the key for our room out of the lock box several times (which we had with us) but no one ever knocked or left a note. I have no idea if there is cleaning during your stay, we didn’t experience any. There are two body towels and two pool towels. No extra blankets, hand towels or face towels. We were in the top floor and it’s a little loud with the quads and bikes driving by but not unreasonable.

We had a great stay, the room was very clean, and kitchen utensils, pans, microwave and coffee maker were provided. Staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Bikes were available for 100 peso, cheaper than any other rental spot in the area. Located within walking distance to restaurants and grocery store, but far enough from the busy area that it was quiet and peaceful at night.
