Wonderful and comfortable place and excellent communication!

The property is a true gem.A tropical zen getaway paradise with all the real home vibes: Modern industrial bedoom that leads into a quiet, private magical garden (w a pond) that encircles the whole area. Ample closet space. The kitchen/ living area just perfect for sitting and making coffee /food. Large fridge great AC w ceiling fans as well. I cannot reccommend enoough and I will be lookign to satay there in the future. Location is key as you are 2 blocks right from the beach and a few minutes from Ocean Park center. Prime & safe. One of the best stays ever!

Walking distance to the beech and to lots of restaurants and bars. Would be happy to stay here again for a night or 2.

This is a great place to stay and we enjoy it.

If I were to describe Puerto Rico in general with one word, it would be "clean." There is almost no litter on the street, and certainly very little on any of the beaches we visited. La Esmeralda PR is no exception. Our suite was spotless. I would caution visitors that the building's promotional photos are old. Our unit had a lot of wear and tear, from a broken chair leg to a cabinet door that wouldn't close to chipped floor tiles. Rusted metal outside, which I think is unavoidable in that climate. We rented their beach chairs and umbrellas and one umbrella was broken and the beach chairs were old. Turns out beach chairs and umbrellas are not the done thing on the local beach. I had to ask for sheets for the single bed three times. We couldn't unlock the gate to park our car and wound up with a $50 parking ticket after being told we could park outside of the gate. The owners claim they unlocked it for us but that was not our experience.

The location was great, very close to everything. The room was clean. The bed was kind of uncomfortable and the light from the AC unit lights up the whole room at night which makes it a little hard to sleep. Overall, I’d stay there again.

Room was clean, no staff present, place was locked up like a prison but seemed safe enough. walking distance to beach and restaurants, bars, Walgreen's, laundry etc. I would recommend to younger people who are fit but not to retired people who may have walking difficulties. Driving is insane in San Juan and this area was no different.

I stood in the honeymoon suite It was wonderful very peaceful love the apt I definitely will comeback, clean and cozy as well romantic.

Room was clean and near a lot of things to do. Very safe area I had an excellent time!

Everything was amazing! Check in and parking (street parking) was quick and easy. Lots of restaurants, bars, and the beach within walking distance. We stayed in the Garnet room and it was more than enough room for two people.

The morning we're getting ready for the airport, the water stopped while I was in the shower. I tried to call the number provided when checked in because this place doesn't have a front desk and no answers. We ended up going to the airport without showers/ no teeth being brushed, it was horrible. My advice is to get a room with a front desk, with $250/night you can get a much better place.

Clean and comfortable. Very secure! Located right next to a beautiful park and a beach. Great restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend!
