Good do with a bit of TLC to make sure it stays good. Other than that great value, friendly staff on reception

Room was clean. However,Expedia charged £15 for breakfast when the hotel charges £9! Expedia are supposed to be sorting my query

We stayed at the Starling Cloud for one night as we were attending a funeral at the nearby crematorium. The rooms are in a block away from the main pub so more quiet than you might expect. The room was clean with a comfortable mattress so we had a good night’s sleep. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

Room was lovely and clean and the bed was comfy. Noise insulation was very good as a main road is outside. Reception gentlemen was very welcoming and friendly.

Great parking, good location within walking distance of the town. Check-in and check out was easy. The beds were firm but very comfortable. The bathroom was very dated and could benefit from a makeover. There was a constant beeping noise all through the night coming from outside the room.

Good value for central Aberystwyth, hotel building separate from pub and reception so quieter than you would expect.

Room clean, check in was straightforward, staff were very friendly and accommodating. We only had breakfast on one day which was poached egg and avocado on toast - nothing very special about this. The evening meal, again we only had one each - sea bass and chicken and ham pie, both meals were good. The summer fruit crumble was also very good.

An excellent 1 night stay. Rooms very clean and comfy. Shall stay again.
