We stayed for one night but we wished we stayed longer. The town is off the beaten path, so genuine and friendly. The hotel is close to the center of town so you can walk to the few restaurants at night. It really a town where everyone knows everyone. The hotel is comprised of 8 rooms and is owned by a family from the area. It’s decorated with relics from the past but beautifully integrated with modern features. A must see for anyone who is interested in staying in a smaller town in Andalusia.

Unfortunately in such small towns there are limited dining options. Or breakfast the next day. I suppose it’s a great way to diet!

Særdeles smuk Casa Almara, som er blevet restaureret nænsomt, med det originale udtryk bevaret. Værten har virkelig gjort et flot arbejde på at sætte denne Casa i stand med en fin æstetik. Vi nød hver morgen at tage vores kaffekop med op på den store terrasse, og sidde og nyde udsigten over olivenmarkerne.I byen er der en ro og stilhed, som man næsten ikke finder andre steder. Alt er lækkert og rent. Og det vigtigste sengene, er 180 cm.bred, i værelse nr. 7.Værten er utroligt venlig og hjælpsom, og vi havde en fin kommunikation med ham inden og under vores ophold. Endelig sæt et par dage af til at nyde et ophold her.

Sehr schön und geschmackvolle Unterkunft. Der nette Ort hat allerdings nicht viel zu bieten. Landschaft malerisch. Córdoba 20 min mit dem Auto.

Superbe maison d'hôtes en étape sur la magnifique route entre Grenade et Cordoue . L'accueil st chaleureux , la décoration y est délicate et propice à prendre son temps. Une belle expérience visuelle, sonore (musique andalouse) et aussi olfactive.

Hotellet er nydelig pusset opp og vertskapet er svært vennlig. Casa Almara er virkelig verd et stopp på veien mellom Malaga og Cordoba!!

If you are looking for an unique "out of this world" place, stay at Casa Almara, Ivan (the host) has worked with pride on this house and it shows. Can not say enough about what an amazing experience we had at this beautifully renovated hotel. Please stay here if you have the opportunity you will not regret it.

Ein besonderer Platz in einem touristisch nahezu unerschlossenen Ort. Toll und aussergewöhnlich. Wie in einem Museum. Vor allem auch der Der Inhaber (Ivan) ist zudem sehr herzlich und persönlich und trug dazu bei, daß wir unvergessliche Tage in Espejo hatten.

Tudo perfeito. Desde a decoração e limpeza à simpatia dos anfitriões. O pátio exterior com vários patamares é magnifico, ao estilo das antigas casas da Andaluzia. O pequeno almoço apesar de não estar incluído no preço, é excelente e variado. Fomos muito bem recebidos, tivemos um grande percalço na viagem para o hotel e os anfitriões foram extremamente prestáveis e ajudaram-nos com tudo o que foi necessário.
