Elevators kept breaking; very dark in terms of lack of light in rooms and hallways. Older hotel that has minimum updates

Huge hotel but they managed to make you feel right at home. The only downside is that the pool is very cold, not heated as advertised. Pets stay free.

Booked a Lakeside Suite, paid Expedia $362.57, plus "Taxes & Fees" of $62.85, total $425.42. At check-out charged an additional $43.80 in Taxes & Fees, plus $58.46 to valet park. The room we were assigned #757 was probably the worst room in the "Lakeside Suite" category. If we looked out our window, past the 30 feet of white reflective roofing with HVAC ducts & vents, for the P6 restaurant located right under our room, we could see a small slice of the lake. The room layout is weird, coffee maker didn't work, low-profile bed about 18 inches off the floor, like sleeping on the ground. Expensive room and very unimpressive. AND LAZ Parking damaged my vehicle, had multiple conversations with LAZ & The Line. Nothing ever happened. Do yourself a favor, Skip The Line!

Room was stunning. Loved the hotel decor. Everything was super clean and I loved the stocked fridge with drinks and snacks. The only downsides were valet parking only option and the front desk staff that checked us in was not friendly. Otherwise great hotel

I always rent here with my adult daughter, this time we brought my son we wanted to show him the amazing hotel, but when we arrived the valet guy was very rude saying tal should invest in a suit case or two. Then the cleaning lady came in the room unannounced just walked in once she saw us we were shocked and she said oh sorry but I need to put something in the room so I went to get it from her and she walked around me dismissively and put it in the closet herself, I was trying to avoid her coming in the room bc my son was in bathroom changing and I didn’t want her to see him undressed (Adult son) but she didn’t care and did what she wanted. Then an hour later she came back did the same thing just came in and said oh sorry sorry and put something towel in the room when she walked out there was another lady outside the room. We had to put the latch to prevent her from coming in. I did tell the front desk, but she was like it couldn’t of been the same lady like she was there to tell me who I saw. But next I’ll take a pic I was disappointed and had second hand embarrassed , bc I raved about the title non stop to my son and he wasn’t Impressed. He said he wouldn’t be back 😪

I like this modern hotel and love the Cowshed toiletries, which are available for purchase from the hotel. The Vera Cruz restaurant in the lobby also has excellent take out food. I stay here every year for a conference so that I can buy Cowshed products.

Loved the shower!!! Outstanding. Wish housekeeping would’ve been more consistent.

Orange mold in shower. Charger broken on one side of the bed. Ceiling in bathroom the repair work not finished off.

I’ll start by saying I design hotels and commercial spaces for a living. The space had wear & tear beyond acceptable. Cracked ceilings, toilet is set off center beyond normal, the faucet lifted out of the countertop, the drain wasn’t attached. The decorative balls on the chairs were missing and also detached. Service was stingy and didn’t take our used coffee cups even after our requested cleaning. It is a glorified motel. However, convenient location.

Would definitely stay here agaib

A little dingy for the cost.. elevators had stains on the rugs that were in them.

Room upgrade: When the room was booked, we called immediately to request a room upgrade and the staff informed me that it will be done upon check-in. The day of check-in arrived early, but the staff said they didn't have upgraded rooms. When looking at the hotel website and hotels.com there were rooms available. Even when offered to pay the difference the staff said 'no upgrades available.' I contacted hotels.com who were amazingly helpful in getting us an upgrade. THEN the staff called saying 'OH we have an upgraded room for you.' So this was a HUGE lie, already off to a bad start. SERVICE: When you see a lady struggling to push a luggage cart while maintaining her dog's leash, she needs help. And she didn't receive it from staff. Not helpful staff. But people notice when the staff is joking around and not taking their job seriously. Room was clean, provided plenty of bathroom supplies and toiletries. Room also had snack items, but no label for how much they were. Could be mistaken for complimentary. Requesting a room cleaning took forever! We left to eat breakfast, walked our dog, went to South Congress and returned mid afternoon and was still not ready to clean. Remote for TV did not work properly.

Stay on the lakeside. Streetside rooms have a lot of late night traffic noise from the never ending Waymo cars.
