Vi hade en super vistelse här, över förväntan! Bilderna på inredningen gjorde att jag tänkte att det kunde vara lite gammalt och ingrott, men det var jättefräscht, personalen fantastiskt tillmötesgående och stranden och badmöjligheterna var toppen. Inte fullt i solsängarna trots att det var fullbokat på hotellet och fint väder. Väldigt avslappnande. Fina utemiljöer och utsikt från var man än var. Välgjorda drinkar i baren. Frukosten är ganska dyr, men bra. Enda negativa är väl att sängarna är väldigt hårda.

Jolie hôtel, la vue est magnifique sur le lac et le petit déjeuner est super bon. Nous avons dans la globalité passé une très bonne semaine. Cependant, nous avons été déçu de découvrir que le fitness ainsi que le spa étaient payant chaque jour et par personne. En plus du coût du parking de 25€/j. Nous avions choisi cet hôtel car il avait un fitness et un spa, mais le montant journalier était trop important pour toute la semaine, surtout que cette information n’est pas trouvable sur leur site ni sur ebookers. À la fin, lors du paiement, l’hôtel ajoute 5% de taxes pour les pourboires du staff sur la facture, et demande ensuite si nous sommes d’accord de payer. Je trouve cette manière de faire un peu abusif surtout quand on sait que tout est payant dans cet hôtel… La plage était parfaite tout comme la chambre.

Helt supert opphold, vi endte med å utvide bookingen med 3 dager til. Flott hotell, strand, basseng etc. Hyggelige ansatte. Vi stortrivdes.

Petit déjeuner et parking beaucoup trop chers, en sachant que dans le quartier il y a des places des parkings gratuites pour toute la journée. La climatisation des chambres n’est pas optimale et ne refroidit pas assez. La piscine était très petite. Il y a eu des erreurs de facturation. On vous conseille fortement l’hotel Dino. Le personnel est plus disponible. La piscine est plus grande.

Sehr schönes und sauberes Hotel. Wunderschöne Einrichtung, man fühlt sofort sehr wohl. Zimmer sind genug gross, Balkon mit schönem Ausblick. Immer wieder gerne hier :-)

Vi nød en forlænget weekend her med stor tilfredshed. Værelse og udsigt i topklasse. Skøn morgenbuffet og meget serviceorienteret og professionelt personale alle steder. Dejligt med både privat strand og pool samt håndklædeservice. Lækker restaurant med kvalitetsudbud og igen god service og stemning. Spis med flot udsigt til både søen og bjergene. Parkering er i den dyre ende af skalaen. Men godt at det både er P-kælder og udendørs p-muligheder. Alt i alt får man, det man betaler for her. Det var en stor fornøjelse at besøge Splendid og det levede til fulde op til vores forventninger. Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage igen.

Every single thing about our stay at Hotel Splendid was, indeed, splendid. All of the staff from the front desk to the bar to the restaurant were all so helpful and friendly, and the location cannot be beat if you are looking for a place to hangout and unwind. There is also a convenient walking path into the town of Baveno from the hotel to avoid the busiest road, as well as a shuttle stop right up the street for the Alibus that runs to Malpensa airport. The private lakefront beach is perfect for swimming and the breakfast buffet is impressive. Absolutely worth adding for your stay. I am not embarrassed to admit that, in a 4 night stay, we only ate one meal outside the hotel...the restaurant is just that good. Book your stay at Hotel Splendid, you will not regret it!

Heel mooi hotel. Vriendelijke bediening. Prachtig zwembad en privé strand met de nodige ligstoelen. Zeer lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Restaurant mer terras met uitzicht op het meer. Mooie locatie met de nodige privacy. Opgelet de accommodatie rekent bij de betaling 5% extra service kosten bovenop de hotels. com prijs.

Professional staff, clean spacious room, Mountain View with noise from road. Terrace overlooking lake was perfect for pre dinner drinks and restaurant staff were very welcoming and helpful when deciding on food choices. Overall a good stay on the lake.

Hôtel très agréable avec un personnel très professionnel et disponible, situé en bord de lac avec plage et ponton pour se baigner dans le lac. Le restaurant est excellent avec des prix proches des concurrents. L'accueil était parfait 👍

The hotel enjoys an excellent lakeside location with direct access to a private beach, making it an ideal setting for a relaxing stay. Throughout my visit, the staff were consistently friendly, professional and helpful. The breakfast offering was of a good standard. However, the availability of additional hot dishes that could be ordered was not clearly communicated, and greater visibility of these options would enhance the guest experience. There were two aspects that fell short of expectations. Firstly, the gym facilities require significant investment. Approximately half of the equipment was out of service, and the remaining equipment appeared dated and in need of replacement. In addition, guests are charged €12 per day to use the gym, which feels difficult to justify given the condition of the facilities. Secondly, the hotel applies a 5% service charge to guests' bills. This is not something I have commonly encountered at hotels. I was informed that the charge is distributed directly to the staff and, given the high standard of service I received, I was happy to pay it. However, greater transparency around this charge at the outset of a guest's stay would be appreciated.

This hotels gets the big things but fail on the small. Grand hotel, great beach, beautiful rooms, great breakfast, but as others note, you pay 25 to park for a day, in fact more if you use the car because payment is per hours capped at 25. We asked for iron. No. Not possible. Leave with staff and they will iron, I guess tomorrow.. and do on.
