Our experience at this hotel was nothing short of magnificent! From the moment we arrived we were treated like VIPs! The staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and professional every moment of our stay. The location is outstanding, the views amazing and the rooftop terrace was something right out of a dream. Our room offered every luxurious convenience while also exuding the elegance and history of this magnificent hotel. It sits at the highest spot in Matera so every window offers a million dollar view. I wish we had stayed longer and I will never forget the magical experience Matera gave us.

We had a lovely time here! The superior suite was just beautiful. The views were amazing, the bed comfortable and air conditioning worked great The bathroom was wow wow wow I would stay here again as position was amazing

We had a fabulous time at Palazzo Viceconte. The views from the room and from the roof terrace are simply stunning, and the staff were very welcoming and generous. We got engaged while we were there and they even gave us a free bottle of Prosecco! We will definitely be back.

Eidola welcomed me, helped me park in the courtyard, checked me in, showed me my room and explained everything perfectly. It was the perfect introduction to a perfect stay.

Could not believe the beautiful reception rooms you walk through to get breakfast, as good as visiting a stately home. Our room was wonderful and the staff very helpful. The terrace area was a great place to watch the sunset.

We had a lovely stay at Viceconte! It is a beautifully renovated palace. The rooms were spacious with comfortable king beds. The entire hotel is incredibly clean with welcoming and helpful staff. We would definitely come again!

A real palazzo right next to the Duomo & restaurants. Senore Viseconte was present & allowed guests access to his private home & art gallery. Matera is really a special place. Thanks 007!

The concert was wonderful. The rooms could be cooled a little better and it would have been nice to have a shower you could Stan up in. The facilities were wonderful and the staff very kind and accommodating

Stayed here for one night. Staff were excellent and really helpful. One actually walked 10min with me to my car just so he could direct me back to the hotel car park. Rooms are clean and spacious. Amazing views. They also have a nice terrace with a bar.

Vi stannade en natt i Matera och valde detta lite finare hotell, dels pga prisvärde (Jag hade en bonusnatt att använda) och dels pga av läget med utsikt och takterrass. Rummen var jättefina och lägen fenomenalt. Lite knepigt att ta sig till och det var trångt med hyrbilen genom porten. Vi fick mycket god service och frukosten i det mäktiga rummet var god. Tyvärr var service och utbud i tak-baren lite begränsat men utsikten runt om över staden och ravinen fenomenal. Ena rummets hade dålig luftkonditionering men personalen försökte rätta till det och bad om ursäkt för problemet.
