The staff was amazing—they provided excellent information about sightseeing, how to stay safe, and dining options. They also prepared a great takeaway breakfast for an early flight and were incredibly prompt in responding to messages. Finally, the property is stunning.

Wonderful boutique hotel in heritage residence from 1912. Garden, library and honor lounge are beautifully preserved. Convenient location and access. Very helpful and very pleasant staff. One complaint only- air conditioner was intermittently noisy.

We had a wonderful stay! Great location as well as its on a street where you can just walk straight down for as little as 15 to 20 minutes and get to some great restaurants and sights! We hope to stay here again one day!

It is a unique old building. Quite a “Fawlty Towers” vibe. No elevator and very long staircase, which while beautiful, was awkward , especially descending oddly enough. Squeaky floors and bed. Fine for one night. Staff was very accommodating,getting us a “go” breakfast since we had an early flight.

I recently stayed at this charming hotel and had a wonderful experience. The ambiance made me feel like I had stepped back in time or was staying in a museum. The room was spacious and comfortable, though the bathroom was a bit on the smaller side. The staff were exceptional, providing excellent service throughout my stay. Initially, the location seemed a bit sketchy, but it turned out to be in the heart of everything, making it very convenient to explore Chile Centro. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved this hotel and would definitely visit again! Beautiful old character buildings with 15 ft ceilings, amazing helpful staff, fantastic breakfasts…. And the list goes on!

Matildas Hotel Boutique is a little gem of a place, a former family home still managed by friendly family members. There is no elevator, but someone helped get heavy bags upstairs (with a dumb waiter?) I felt like a visitor in a stately private home rather than being in a hotel. I also felt safe and the staff provided me with excellent help to organize a wine tour and find good restaurants.
