Link House is a welcoming beautifully located place to stay. Peter and Katie have created a warm and attentive atmosphere. They have an eye for detail and excel in hosting. The whole house was wonderfully clean, tastefully decorated and comfy. Breakfasts were lovely too! We definitely recommend a stay at Link House if heading to the Keswick area.

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt bei Katie und Pete. Sie sind zwei unglaublich nette und fürsorgliche Menschen, bei denen man sich nur wohl fühlen kann. Mein Zimmer war auch sehr schön und gemütlich. Jeden Abend hat man seine Frühstückswünsche für den nächsten Tag angegeben und seinen Wunschzeitraum, damit nicht alle Gäste auf einmal das Frühstückszimmer stürmen. Das Frühstück selbst war immer sehr lecker und liebevoll zubereitet. In einem Nebenraum gab es sehr viele Bücher zur Auswahl. Und die Gegend ist ja sowieso traumhaft. Pete konnte sehr gute Empfehlungen für Unternehmungen aussprechen. Ich kann dieses BnB nur empfehlen und würde dort immer wieder übernachten.

Our visit was due to local family illness! However, our initial reception was most friendly and most informative! Our room was excellent and our breakfast superb! A well run establishment that is a credit to Peter and Katie. Thank you both! P&P M!

Hosts Peter & Katie were great & made us feel really welcome. Breakfast was lovely and sufficient portion sizes. Our room was clean & comfortable with a hillside view. Would recommend this lovely B & B.

What a delightful stay. Very comfortable room in a quiet and beautiful location. We could not have asked for better hosts than Pete & Katie, who were very welcoming. Delicious fully cooked breakfast and parking included. Excellent value and highly recommended.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay here. The couple who own it are lovely and very friendly. The room was a good size, clean, bright & airy and we had a beautiful view looking out towards the mountains. Breakfast was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for this couple.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at this property and we could not fault anything, the views from the property are amazing and Pete and Katie are the most welcoming hosts offering lovely clean rooms with a great selection of drinks in the room and a great breakfast each day. We will be back to stay again very soon

We had a lovely stay, Pete and Katie were very friendly and the house is beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed and in the mornings we enjoyed delicious breakfasts with a beautiful view. We chose to stay at Link House as we were going to the Lakes Distillery and it is easily walkable from the guest house. It’s a little too far away from Keswick or cockermouth to walk into town for dinner but if you don’t want to drive there is the x5 bus which we used to go to Keswick and it stops right outside the guesthouse.

Lovely, helpful and friendly hosts. Very quiet location with a great bus service that stops right outside. Breakfast very tasty. Unfortunately bed was a bit hard for our liking. But overall a nice stay.

Beautiful Bed & Breakfast in the Bassenthwaite / Keswick area. Comfy beds, nice & quiet with a great choice for breakfast. Pete & Katie were lovely welcoming hosts.

Lovely B&B near to Bassenthwaite Lake and the new Lakes Distillery. With a frequent bus route and good access to the A66 it is very easy to get around the Lakes from the Link House. We were down for a mid-week break and were made to feel very welcome by Peter and Katie. Our room was spacious and clean with views across to Skiddaw. A good selection for every taste at breakfast. Within walking distance is the Pheasant Inn if you don't want to drive for Lunch/Dinner which has a very good menu. Overall we were very happy with our stay. Thank you.

Katie and Pete were lovely hosts, and looked after me really well. They were full of helpful suggestions of where to go even though it was snowing/sleeting/raining!

Last minute booking and more than happy with my stay - hosts Pete and Katie couldn't do enough for me and I felt very welcome. I ordered poached eggs on toast for breakfast and they were absolutely perfect - its the small touches that make the difference.
