Conveniently located, staff was really helpful.

staff were very friendly , hotel is in a nice area with food and shops its quite touristy. Room was large with large bed . its in a open courtyard so will be cold around the rest of the hotel during winter. Breakfast was very poor but overall enjoyed our stay

This is a lovely hotel with loads of character. The room we had was spacious with a separate seating area. The breakfast was OK, nothing special but it was fine. They say it starts at 7:30, but we went down earlier one day as we wanted an early start and others were already eating. It’s a shame that the spa is permanently closed. It’s not easy to find initially!

This is a small hotel inside of a walking only area filled with a variety of tea houses, small restaurants, small shops and various theaters. Amazingly, the hotel is quiet. The decor is traditional Chinese with a collection of antique furniture and the famous local embroidery works. The courtyard is tastefully designed and decorated to create a feeling of tranquility. The staff was very friendly and nice. The only drawback was that there’s no elevator and taxis couldn’t park in front of the entrance, so luggage had to be hand carried by you, or you could ask for a porter.

Lovely hotel in the wen shu monastery area. Great location. Breakfast was satisfactory. Room was comfortable. Staff lovely. NOTE- Location on Google maps is INACCURATE.

Amazing, might be my favorite hotel in China! In the middle of the Hutong (taxi can’t go there, a little walking required, don’t trust google maps, check names on shops while you’re walking, google said 15min walk - took me 4 incl searching to get there), BEAUTIFUL house, amazing staff, comfortable room, loved it!!!

This is one of the most satisfying and interesting places I've stayed in a city. Close to Wenshu Temple and a fun market and pedestrian street lined with tea "gardens", the hotel itself has beautiful, peaceful architecture and the staff are wonderful and very helpful. And it was an amazing value for the money and where we stayed. Very walkable area and close to great local hotpot places and bubble tea.

遅く到着したためお店も閉まっていて食事出来ずに困っていたら、フロントのスタッフが知り合いのお店に連絡してくれて　一緒に歩いて買いに行ってくれました。 いたるところで親切なとても感じの良いホテルでした。 次も必ずここにします。

Nice staff, clean room, good breakfast. Only problem was my room beside cleaner's utility and they are making lots of noise talking and slamming door early in the morning.

A really lovely boutique hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and had some nice touches. The staff were friendly and the whole place had just a really nice oriental feel to it. Would definitely stay again!

The whole building is an unique structure, it is lime you are staying in monastery.

深夜のチェックインになってしまいましたが、問題なく対応いただけました。多少の英語も通じたのも助かりました。フロント以外のスタッフの方もすれ違うたびに挨拶してくださり、快適に過ごせました。 場所が少しわかりにくいので事前に確認しておいた方がいいと思います。また、周囲のお店はコンビニ含めてクローズが早めです。

Pros: helpful staff, beautiful hotel, comfy beds and huge, fluffy towels. Cons: local area is beautiful but completely dead at night. In the morning, you can hear people on the street very clearly.

I would say the service is excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful.
