A lovely place to stay

We stayed in July 2026 for a week and had room number 11 on the same level as the rooftop pool. The balcony was very spacious with two loungers and table and chairs. Lovely view towards Marsalforn and the sea beyond. The room was a good size and well equipped with a kettle and coffee machine. Tea bags and instant coffee replenished each day and two coffee pods to start you off with more available at 60 cents from the bar. Breakfast is 4 items from a pre-select list which you fill in the day before which includes 5 different types of egg, cereal, fresh fruit, bacon, sausages, pastries etc. Loads of choice and we found the portion sizes very generous. Toast and marmalade etc is also included as well as the four items. The location is perfect for getting around the island, there is a regular bus service through Xaghra although the bus stop next to the hotel was out of use when we were there due to adjustments to the bus route because of roadworks elsewhere in the village. Bolts are also easy and cheap. There is a small shop 2 minutes walk away selling most of the everyday things you might need, and a pharmacy nearby too. The main square is approx 5-10 minutes walk and has a few restaurants and bars. We ate in a different one each night and found the food excellent in all. Special mention for "73 In The Square", no food but great for a drink - lovely, hospitable owners. I would definitely recommend Il Logga, great place to stay in a superb location.

Spacious room, good storage. Aircon was good and there’s also a fan. Great breakfast with large servings and friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again.

This is the second time we have stayed at this wonderful boutique hotel. It’s well located 5 mins walk from Xaghra square and there’s a bus stop almost outside the property. Our room was light, airy and modern with a small balcony with sea view. Breakfast are enormous with lots of choice (you choose 4 x items the day before) and freshly cooked. Best of all for this week where the temperature was a constant 30-31 was the rooftop pool; it’s not big but it doesn’t need to be. Last shout out goes to the staff, friendly and helpful. We even got a late checkout at no extra cost. Would we stay here again? Absolutely.

Absolutely fantastic hotel breakfast was the best breakfast we have ever had on a holiday. The staff couldn’t do enough for you, the room was spotless beds very comfortable and quiet at night the pool was an added bonus. The hotel was situated at the bus stop and a five minute walk to the lovely square Thank you to all the staff for making us so welcome. We will definitely be back if I could give it 10 stars I would.

Excellent stay exceptional food comfortable rooms

Hotellet var rent, værelserne blev gjort rent hver dag, morgenmaden var rigtig god og personalet hjælpsomt.

Le personnel était absolument sublime. Mais le reste était top aussi. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au centre de pleins d'activité et de point de chute grâce au placement parfait de cet hôtel.

Viihdyimme Il-Logga hotellissa erinomaisesti. Aamiaiset olivat uskomattoman runsaita ja henkilökunta kaikissa tilanteissa huomaavaista. Yövyimme huoneessa, jossa oli iso parveke merinäköalalla.

The interior is well kept. The staff treated us with kindness. Friendly, polite, helpful and accommodating. We chose the room with a full balcony and loved having two types of chairs- 2 uprights with a table and 2 loungers. It was lovely to have a private outside place to lounge, especially since we stayed a week. Breakfast was included, filling, tasty, and we custom ordered every evening from a menu for the next morning. They do have a restaurant on-site which serves delicious food. As is common with most eateries in town, they are not open every night. However there are other options up in the town square. The location is 1/4 mile walk from the town center square where there about 7 restaurants. It's a mile walk to Victoria if you go the back way, although it's a pretty steep incline. One must play "frogger" when walking, carefully watching for cars. We enjoyed the relaxing, laid back atmosphere of Xaghra. We used a combination of ride share, public buses and walking to get around. We enjoyed the Hop Off and Hop on bus to allow us to get an overview of the Island of Gozo. We recommend II-Boutique Hotel and would stay here again.

Établissement très propre et accueillant. Personnel bienveillant. Chambre propre, fonctionnelle et lumineuse. Piscine sur le toit. Un petit déjeuner TRÈS copieux, les portions sont plus que généreuses. Si je devais mettre un bémol c'est sur l'insonorisation de la chambre (passage des voitures) car la nôtre se trouvait façade avant de l'hôtel et donnait sur les deux côtés de l'établissement, situé au carrefour de deux petites routes. Sinon je recommande et j'y retournerai avec grand plaisir. Tout se fait à pied en ville. Très bien situé.

The hotel was updated and clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Our room had a beautiful view from the balcony as well.

Great breakfasts and super friendly staff

A higly recommended boutique hotel (winner of the award for the best Malta boutique hotel for 2025). My wife and stayed here for two weeks in November (the off season) and it was perfect for our base of operations. The rooms are kept spotless. The breakfast (included) is cooked for you daily. And for dinner in the restaurant (not included) food, wine, and service are exceptional. This is a small, locally owned, family run hotel. We were made to feel very welcome and the owners and staff were happy to provide suggestions and recommendations for restaurants and activities. Thank you to all.
