Der Aufenthalt in Playa Negra Guesthouse war sehr erholsam. Sobald man das Gelände betritt, ist man fasziniert von dem gepflegten Garten und der Vielfalt an Tieren. Wir hatten das Glück ca. 2 m von unserer Terrasse ein Faultier zu beobachten, wie es vom Baum herunterklettert. Beide Gastgeber waren herzlich und sorgten für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Der Strand Playa Negra liegt direkt gegenüber dem Grundstück. Pura vida.

The property is a mini animal sanctuary, with many agouti running around and sloths hanging in the trees. Many birds and frogs and even a kinkajou, although hard to spot. The hosts are very nice and helpful, Marise will make sure you and comfortable and Pierre will tell you all about the wildlife. The room is clean and comfortable, although there is no AC, so keep that in mind. It is walkable to Cahuita although a couple more min out of the way than some of the other hotels, wasn’t a problem to walk to the beach, park or city though. Overall safe, comfortable, and friendly, I would recommend a stay here especially if you want easy access to sloths and wildlife out your front door

A lovely 3 night stay in beautifully maintained tropical gardens and well kept comfortable 2 bed cottage. Lots of wildlife in the gardens and trees including Sloths. Hosts were fantastic and nothing was too much of a problem. Beautiful swimming pool and right on the beach. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance.

Great hosts, lots of wildlife and good facilities

Erg fijne accomodatie met prachtige tuin. Je hoeft in principe niet weg want er zitten elke dag luiaards in de bomen in de tuin. Fijn zwembad, wel volledig in de zon. Kamer is fijn, met airco en douche met hele goede waterdruk!

All was fine

A very pleasant guesthouse where we had a pleasant room and a large veranda. Nice big swimming pool and beautiful garden. The room is clean, has a fridge and kitchen necessities.

Just across the street from the ocean and beach, a beautiful, secluded property. Each room/cabins has private outdoor space. Our quad room had great mini kitchen type amenities. Ocean waves, sloths, parrots, toucans, iguanas, tree frogs and CONSTANT agoutis running around! A little paradise. The owners are very helpful. Our only complaint is that it was a bit of a walk from town for our six year old’s legs, but we knew that up front so the property can’t be faulted for that. Just lovely in every way! Beach toys, towels, and chairs all included too.

It was amazing. Sat on the Balcony at night with a glass of wine listening to the ocean. The wild life was also amazing

Comfortable friendly place with a beautiful beach right across the road. Lots of wildlife on the property!

Eine grossartige anlage mit einem riesen Garten voller Tiere wie Faultiere, Leguane, vögel,Aguties..... Einfach ein Paradies und gegenüber direkt das meer!

Lugar especial! Si llegaste visitar los Parques Nacionales, ya no hace falta - el parque con todos animales tienes en el territorio del hotel!

Incredible owners, perfect location, gorgeous grounds… we saw multiple sloths, toucans, parrots, tree frogs, and more… ALL on property!

We loved every second of our stay. Place is run by 2 passionate owners. They shared local ideas and advices in between pointing out slots, iguanas, toucans that inhabit their wonderful property. Couldn’t recommend that place enough and can only be jealous of next guests that will be staying in Maria and Pierre’s property.

Man kann nur sagen: 10 Punkte und wenn es einen Bonus gäbe, den on top. Eine superschöne Unterkunft in einen sehr schönen Garten. Hervorragender Service und Informationen. Wären gern länger mit unserem Blick auf den Pool. Tausend Dank!

Marie and Pier are excellent host or the place and stay.

Excellent séjour de 3 nuits dans ce très bel établissement dans un jardin peuplé d'animaux, juste en face de la playa negra. L'accueil de Maryze et ses conseils sont très appréciables. La piscine est un plus en fin de journée.

This CNN is a bird watchers paradise. Amazing natural property. The room # 4 had a squeaky bed but a great veranda for watching birds. Extra small table and chairs in the room would have been good. The use of the BBQ at the pool was wonderful!
