We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Ardshiel! Everyone was so warm and welcoming and incredibly helpful. Food and drinks were great. Perfect base for exploring the Campbeltown area. Our room was clean and very comp. Would absolutely stay again!

Good whisky bar with extensive selection. Wouldn’t recommend staying the night. Suzy was very friendly and welcoming, not the rest of the staff. Breakfast service and value deplorable. Bathroom could not be more user unfriendly and the shower in our room was ridiculous, toilet seat loose and sink and tap could not be more mismatched

Noise from the stairs is a problem. Bathroom was quite cold. No plug next to the bed for charging.

Very friendly staff in a location that’s just off the sea front - we could see this from our top floor room. We had a tasty meal in the hotel restaurant.

Great room with really comfy bed, great meal and a great whisky selection. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Campbeltown

We were there as our daughter was moving to the area. Everyone in the Hotel were so friendly and seemed to have a great working relationship between them. Breakfast and dinner were also delicious.

Our stay was in the annexe which is along the road a few doors, so not exactly in the hotel building. All good unless it's heavy rain.

The stay in the hotel was great, spacious, food was excellent, staff were excellent! We will definitely come back.

Just a one night stopover

We weren't sure where to stay in Campbeltown but glad that we opted for the Ardshiel. Our Superior Double Room room (room 6) was huge, a comfy king size bed, sofa for watching TV, desk that we could do work at. The only downside was the bathroom was somewhat dated in decor, but it was clean and served its purpose. Staff here are lovely, warm and friendly, and the on site restaurant is the best we found in the town having tried a couple of other places to sample what was on offer. Sheltered beer garden out the back.
