Great large room. Great view. Very well kept and appointed. The location is perfect. Close enough to enjoy everything but away from the crowds. We highly recommend this historic hotel.

Warm welcome and fast check in. The room was ready even though we arrived several hours early. Fabulous large room, spotlessly clean. All staff were excellent but Nena at breakfast was absolutely brilliant and thoughtful. Beautiful location perfect for exploring and catching the ferry to Valletta. This hotel gets my highest recommendation, don’t hesitate to book.

広々としてセンス良い綺麗な客室、とても親切で笑顔で気持ちの良い接客をしてくれるスタッフの方々、バレッタまで船ですぐの便利なロケーションのスモールラグジュアリーホテル。歩いてすぐのところに素敵なレストランもあります。１泊だけだったがもっとゆっくり泊まりたかった。マルタにはまた来るので、次回もまた泊まりたいです。

It may be easier to list what did not stand out at this hotel! The hotel builds effortlessly on its old roots and merges historic architecture with all the amenities expected in an amazing hotel. The staff were professional and friendly at check in and throughout our stay. The room was clean, spacious, and perfect for our family. Having a kitchenette in the room made taking care of the baby so much easier. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with options for every taste. It was easy to walk to many sites and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

Such a unique place, love the pool with a view and had a great evening meal. I'll be back

Hervorragender Service: Organisieren eines Fahrdienstes vom und zum Flughafen - Gepäck wurde aufs Zimmer gebracht, während wir ein Glas Prosecco genossen haben - während wir aufs Zimmer gebracht wurden, wurde uns der Hotelservices erklärt, das Restaurant fürs Frühstück und der Pool gezeigt - das Zimmer war bereits bei der Anreise gut temperiert, Blumen und frisches Obst stand bereit - Pflegeprodukte von Rituals - Schuhlöffel - Bügelbrett und - Eisen - Nähuntensilien - Zahnbürste und Zahnpasta - …. es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt! Jeder Mitarbeiter war enorm freundlich und hilfsbereit! Die Lage des Hotels ist sensationell - wir hatten von allen Fenstern einen Blick auf den Hafen!es gibt NICHTS was ich bemängeln könnte!!! Wir kommen sicher wieder!

This hotel worked very well for us and we would stay there again. The nearby ferry over to the city runs frequently and we enjoyed the view from it.

Gorgeous hotel, great location. Loved our room terrace overlooking the harbour. Had to complain about the shampoo being refilled with water but this was soon rectified by reception. Staff were all fabulous especially Martha, she always greeted you with a fabulous smile. Enjoyed the rooftop terrace and pool even though the water was freezing! Had a delicious meal at hotel restaurant. Happy hour drinks were enjoyed but we were disappointed that the hotel bar was closed a few days each week.

The hotel was beautiful and food was good but the staff were the real treat. They were very friendly, helpful and consistently exceeded expectations.

A beautiful, historic building and a lovely, lovely hotel. Staff could not do enough for us and we're super friendly. Caterena was a star. Room very well equipped. Various International TV stations and free WiFi. Breakfast was fabulous with lots of choice and cooked fresh. Great quality. Rooftop pool was a lovely facility but lost the sun by 4:30 (Oct). Restaurant was open Weds to Sunday for dinner and was another jem. Situated in a tranquil suburb across from Valetta you need to take the ferry or a Taxi. Would not hesitate to stay again

Beautiful small hotel in old fortress. Our room was huge and had a lovely view over the harbour. Great breakfast, very helpful staff and nice area away from crowds but short ferry ride from Valletta. We loved our stay here! Highly recommended!

The staff is the best of any hotel we have ever stayed in. The facility is first class. Breakfast made to order and quick.

The rooftop and pool area is amazing. Not many shops in the area, but you have 5min walk to the Valletta Ferry. Really nice and quiet in the evening with restaurants nearby the marina.

The location it is WONDERLFUL, the service it was the best, the restauran AMAIZING, I love it!!!

The hotel is set into the walls of the ancient citadel. The rooms are spacious, the restaurant and breakfast served excellent food. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The hotel welcomed us with a complimentary bottle of local wine and fruit. Then on my birthday, I recieved a card, balloons and macaroons - a lovely touch! The commute from the airport was only about 25mins, then there is a convenient ferry from close by to Valletta which runs a regular service up to midnight. We will absolutely stay here again next time we visit Malta.

The hotel was fantastic, & made our holiday feel like a luxury getaway from the moment we arrived. The design & layout of the hotel is stylish & well thought out, & the rooms are excellent as well with great amenities. The rooftop pool was an excellent place to relax on an afternoon as well. The staff are all incredibly friendly, helpful & keen to assist in any way they can. The on site restaurant is excellent, with great quality meals for breakfast & dinner, including a great range of Vegan items. Having seen that Cugo Gran have other hotels in locations across Italy & Spain, we wouldn't hesitate to book into one of their other hotels after our experience in Malta!
