The area was generally very dirty. The entrance to the hotel was being used as a shop for Chinese girls to get dressed up and having makeup. Hence it was as you were entering a small fitting room. The staff could hardly understand a word of english, while we had to ask for very standard supplys such as toilet roles to be provided to the room.

Overall a good stay and the staff was nice. Our room smelled(old cigarette smoke or paint) a lot which was the only drawback with our stay.

Charme mais confort minimal dans une ancienne résidence, pas d'oreiller avec taie, seulement des coussins décoratifs ! Réglage de la douche ingérable... Bien placé, calme.

Très beau séjour en famille dans un hôtel typique à Pingyao. Très bel endroit dans la partie historique de Pingyao donc proche des zones à visiter. Literie un peu dure pour nos habitudes européennes mais ce n'était pas gênant du fait de la beauté du cadre.

The bed was really hard, so two nights was more than enough. Too bad because the hotel itself is quiet and really beautiful, with its traditional Chinese style.
