This was a bit of an odd hotel. It was in a good location but as you approach, you can tell it's more geared to be something else. Rooms were fine but basic. There was no kettle which was a first for us. Breakfast was just fine. It definitely felt more like 3* than 4*. Sirens at night were an issue too. Worth it for the location but pricey for what it was

Quiet rooms with good air conditioning, upon check in told that they don’t make up rooms each day unless requested, we did request but it never happened.

The breakfast was great. Our room was a little weird. There was a motion detector light that kept being set off inside our room. Our air conditioner was a little too loud for us so we had to turn it off. But the hotel is old and beautiful.

Ponto difícil e que não tem elevador. O resto tudo perfeito. Mas em razão de estarmos no.centro.historico e aceitável.

Breakfast is good. Restaurant/ Bar was not open. Little atmosphere. Staff helpful. Good location.

The hotel is a 5 to 10 minute walk from the main railway station. The staff are extremely helpful, polite and professional. The rooms are very clean and there is a restaurant on the premises that serves breakfast should you decide to include it. The city centre is also a 5 to 10 minute walk to the Cathedral Square. Highly recommended,

Very simple but calm environment, excellent breakfast, wonderful value for money and just what I needed.

Sehr freundliches Personal, gute Auswahl beim Frühstück, sichere Tiefgarage - preislich in Ordnung für 20€. Sehr zentral gelegen und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Leider gibt es keinen Kühlschrank und keinen Wasserkocher im Zimmer.

Would definitely stay there again.

駅からは少し距離がありますが、病院を改造したホテルだそうで、 広いロビーには趣があります。朝食もとても豪華です。

Access to hot water for coffee and tea would have been appreciated

the rooms were nice and clean. i was disappointed with breakfast. they were not refilled at 9 so was not able to tell what was offered , several platters were empty. we hang around for about 15-20 mins hoping someone will bring out new platters but they didn’t.

Hôtel très bien situé dans Cologne, à 10m à pied de la cathédrale. Accueil très sympa, chambres restée dans le jus des année 80-90 mais bonne literie/ salle de bain bien équipée.

Gut gelegen, sauber, immer freundliches und hilfsbereitetes Personal.

I had a wonderful 1-night stay at the Maternushaus. The location was perfect, within walking distance from the Cologne main train station (Köln Hauptbahnhof). The facility was very clean, and, while not fancy by any means, it had all that I needed: a very clean single room with private bathroom and a comfortable bed, TV, several electric outlets, good WiFi, etc. The included breakfast was excellent, and there's also a free drinking water station. The staff was very kind and helpful. Above all, I was very thankful for an onsite chapel with 24x7 perpetual Adoration.

Dejligt roligt område af byen men stadig få minutters gang fra Köln Messecenter samt midtbyen. Enormt venligt og engelsktalende personale. Ganske fint morgenmad, stort og helt rent værelse. Det er ikke et helt moderne glinsende hotel. Men det er hyggeligt, rent og roligt. Og rigtig god value for money. Ville helt sikkert have Maternushaus i baghovedet næste gang jeg skal til Köln.
