Parking was close. Rooms were generous, clean and comfortable. Location is perfect in the centre of town. Only downside was the noise especially the rroms at the front, but you have to accept its a pub and the it quietened down soon after 11

Well located with free parking so didn't need to use the car at all during our stay. Everything we wanted to do and see was within walking distance. The place needs refurbishment throughout the stairways and in particular, the bathroom of room 10

Reception staff friendly and helpful. Cleaning done to a good standard. Nice, clean bed. Very tatty room (nothing to do with housekeeping), tired looking, torn net curtain, dirty windows. Shower curtain was heavily stained, disgusting, ick! Poor tea/coffee selection. £104 seemed excessive for this room.

Perfect location, useful to have a car park and was what we needed for our short stay.

Good bed and breakfast. Very noisy motor bike went on the road at high speed around 6.00 in the morning. It is not Half Moon's fault, but was rather annoying.

Clean , comfortable room. Friendly helpful staff . Very convenient location. So good for parking.

Very nice staff

The Half Moon has no lift so people with mobility problems have to climb the steep stairs to the accommodation floor. The shower in the room is in the bath so also a problem for people with mobility problems. The room is in need of upgrading. The pub is a Marston’s house but there was a guest beer. The pub said that they did not sell enough beer.

Very clean room, spacious, warm, ample hot water, comfortable bed, window in bedroom and in bathroom, desk, chair, luggage/clothes rack all very useful, lighting good enough for reading in bed as well as for general living, nice to have tea and coffee-making facilities, helpful staff

Staff were pleasant and helpful. My single room was clean, though quite basic and lacking a comfortable chair (as opposed to the desk chair). Very warm with lots of hot water. Slightly shabby net curtains. Common parts (stairs and corridors) in need of refurbishment. Principle reason for staying here is the location is convenient for me

Room could be cleaned to a better standard

Parking was nice and easy . Breakfast was fresh but laking healthy options. Room wasn’t particularly clean . The skirting boards had a layer on dust and dirt and toilet was brown and had stains . Bed covers also had marks. Long hairs on bed.
