​⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Second to None! ​We had an absolutely flawless stay from start to finish. Claire was incredibly helpful, welcoming us warmly and taking us to our lovely, spotlessly clean room. ​The entire staff were amazing. The chef served up a spectacular breakfast that surpassed all expectations. The hotel itself is beautiful, set in a fabulous village with a wonderful pub atmosphere. ​Thank you to the whole team for making us feel so welcome—this is a truly great place to stay, and we highly recommend it! Will see you again soon ❤️

Overall a poor experience. Very Expensive! Poor customer service and attitude from bar staff and breakfast waitress. Room needs a significant upgrade and safety check. We had an electric socket hanging off the wall.

Perfect place to stay on a coast to coast walk. Osmotherley a beautiful spot.

When we checked in, we did not stay in the actual Queen Catherine. Instead they walked us across the street to the three tuns hotel. I'm guessing it's part of it but they don't really make that known while booking. Otherwise it was a good stay and nice accommodation. Breakfast was good.

Horrible owner horrible staff

Suited well for the Cleveland Way walk. Excellent pub style food, classic cosy inn feeling. Feel as though it would not take much more effort to make this pub/ inn really great.

Excellent value for money.

I grew up in Teesside in the 80's and live in the US - I fully recommend this hotel. The room was above the Three Tuns pub across the street - I guess they run both properties. My room had new bathroom fixtures and a great walk-in shower. My deal also included a full English breakfast downstairs which I'd recommend if you want to go hiking around Sheep Wash/Cod Beck for most of the day. Brilliant spot to hang out - I will look forward to coming back on future visits to the Northeast anytime here.

Given the circumstances our stay was very comfortable. Friendly staff and great foid

Fantastic stay at this very popular hotel. Only let down was terrible strong smell in room we were in (Wife described it as wet dog) apart from that all good no issues. Would stay again but without the smell

We didn't expect to stay in a room next to another Inn across the road. Recently refurbished or converted into a lettable room, the bed was against a wall, not queen size. Large kettle didn't fit under tap, no glasses. Nowhere to hang towels. Only one chair but beds for three. More a pub with food than a hotel, few other patrons. We didn't stay the second night.

The door could not be locked.

Booked a deluxe room with queen bed payed hotel rate and put in a little B&B around the corner

hotel took a booking through expedia but then advised there was no room available and suggested we contact a local B&B ! place looks loveley but we never got to stay there !

Great place to stay while doing the Cleveland Way. Had a small problem checking in as they had no record of my booking but I showed my Hotels.com confirmation & was taken to a room quickly. Lovely room. I couldn’t stop for breakfast as I had to leave early but they made me a pack-up breakfast instead!

Lovely Country Pub Hotel in the center of the village. Food, Drinks and Staff were great. Room was clean and tastefully done out, but a little small and very tight to move around with luggage.

I was disappointed. Apparently this was a 4-star place. I was squeezed into a tiny room, with a dripping toilet, a hair on the bed and a worm in the bed. It was not possible to get breakfast before 8.30, even though I only asked for a coffee and fruit (which they didn't have). I find it a shame when solo female travellers are treated less worthy than couples or families.

A nice place to stay. Fish and chips for lunch were good and the staff were very helpful. Very centrally located and ideal as a venue for walking - I was doing the Cleveland Way.

Clean and comfortable. Staff made up a breakfast for me as was leaving early.
