excellent front door and reception staff

Clean, great breakfast, very helpful and courteous staff, comfortable beds, excellent location, and nice lounge area on main floor.

Je ne suis pas du tout satisfaite du fait que le toit avec piscine était non accessible. Je l'ai pris pour ça, c'est une plublicité mensongère. et j'aimerais un geste commercial de la part d'Expedia.

I normally don’t leave reviews but our experience at the Coco Mat hotel in Athens is worth acknowledging. The hotel staff was absolutely amazing, great location with walking distance to shops and restaurants. The hotel staff was super attentive and went out their way to make sure you felt comfortable and welcomed. We would definitely recommend staying here and would be coming back in the near future.

The reception and service from the Coco-Mat staff was wonderful, and staff was kind and helpful throughout our stay. The included breakfast was terrific. But our room was not the best. It was very small, not unusual for a hotel in Athens. But there was no closet, no drawers, no space for an open suitcase. A wheeled coat rack was left in the room for hanging space. Our third floor balcony faced west onto a busy street. There was only one curtain for the balcony slider, and it had to be kept closed to keep the room cool from the sun - so the room was very dark. In mornings, there was no sheer curtain, so the dark curtain needed to be kept closed as those on surrounding balconies could see into the room with the curtain open. So the small room was very dark at all times. The shower door didn't close tightly, so water tended to leak out. There was a large dark stain at the entrance to the bathroom, which appeared to be water damage. There are nicer hotels in Athens for the price, and we will not choose a Coco-Mat hotel again!

Excellent emplacement pour visiter Athènes. Chambre moderne et fonctionnelle. Très bon petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet avec un choix de plats à base d’œufs à la carte et boissons chaudes préparées au bar. Petit détail, nous aurions apprécié un peu plus de fruits.

Every thing was great except for the house keeping it wasn't to my expectations.

Lovely stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly; the food was delicious. The area around the hotel was accessible to a lot of the areas I wanted to explore.

Every single person especially the front desk is fantastic. Our first trip to Athens was really special and with their suggestions for food and local eateries we got to really enjoy true Athens. The breakfast is such a wide spread with delicious food and many options, their service staff is super accommodating. We loved our stay and had such a wonderful time, oh and everything is super close to main areas and tours. We took a nice stroll at the botanical gardens.

Great location and great hotel

We had a great time here! It was super fancy and can’t beat the location! Our room was a little dark and we had to book and pay for all of our cars/vans to and from the hotel.

I do not know how the rate in greece....but 5 star!!!??? Poor gym/fitness AND NO WATER, it was 32 . And no weights over 8 kg. Breakfast & staff (all over)are excellent. And the hotel is nice, and right in the center. ...and again and again NO upgrade. But 5 star?

Definitely one of my most favorite breakfast experiences I've had. We loved waking up to some mini pancakes, eggs benedict, and delicious flat white coffee. We also enjoyed the location as we were within a minutes walking distance to a lot of things on our itinerary such as the Acropolis, the Acropolis museum, and Plaka street. We were also only a 20 minute taxi ride to the Piraeus port, which we used to go to easily Ferry to other islands such as Agistri and Aegina. There's also a metro stop near the hotel which should make it easier for you to get around and also get there from the ATH airport. We also loved our room which came with a gift bag and some other goodies! The mattress was comfortable (un-surprising since the company also sells mattresses) and we loved the bathroom. Although we were bummed that the rooftop was no longer accessible, we thoroughly enjoyed our 5-star experience at Coco-mat! We ended up just booking other rooftop experiences at other places so it wasn't a big deal to us.

Everything about our stay was amazing ! The hotel is close to many good restaurants. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. They even gave us a surprise for our honeymoon. The bed was by far the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. You truly get the most of your money here. Breakfast was included and so delicious, best was the fresh squeezed orange juice.

Fantastic location, amazing breakfast options, friendly staff, and a good environmental ethos.
