Lovely location and a real charachter property. The whole place was nice and clean and had all the facilities you could need. Great selection available for the continental breakfast and all presented nicely. Great comeunication from the host prior to arrival and the whole experience was very welcoming.

Nice place and host. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, there was an open loaf of bread I. The bread bin for toast which I wasn’t going to use! Location wise there was not much around walking was limited as it was dark and you have to walk through lanes with fast running traffic so I couldn’t walk like I thought I would be able to.

The history of the building is fascinating. A 17th C building made from stones of the nearby ruins, Penmark Castle. Terrific hosts and kind folks at the pub next door.

Wish we could have stayed longer! Such a great experience to stay at the Old Barn and walk around the neighborhood. Loved the pub next door and our too-short visit. Recommend.
