plug sockets randonly didnt work at times, extremely hot room and there was no air conditioning, i asked for water whilst checking in and was told there woudk be some in the fridge, there wasnt, and when i asked about it later, they said they dont do that

Our stay for two nights whilst visiting the Capital were overall good. We have stayed in many hotels in London, this probably being the furthest away from the centre. It’s got great connection links for DLR in and out of the city as well as a lovely cafe on the ground floor offering tasty breakfast and coffee. Our room was very small, I guess I didn’t read up on the details well enough as the pictures showed a different room to what I expected but it wasn’t too much of an issue. The worst part of our stay was having to deal with the countless teenagers and young adults using the accommodation for long term stays. There was lots of footfall in and out of the building at all times but this wasn’t too bad during our visit. Rooftop pool was lovely but way too small to accommodate the amount of people that were in there when we visited. Hotel staff were okay,l overall. We probably won’t stay again, we will find a hotel which is an actual hotel and not joint with long term rentals.

Bed was not properly arranged, window couldn't close, too hot.

Right next to a train line (useful but extremely noisy 5am - 12 midnight - you will need good ear plugs!!), we stayed in a studio it was very small (I'm a slim person and struggled to get in the shower! The bed very small for 2 - seems a queen rather than a double, but can't be sure). No A/C but a fan provided - Very hot in summer heat. Lacks TLC - the bed was sunken to one side, and the walls all scuffed (needed repainting). Overall an ok price for London, but we have stayed in better places without these issues for the same price.

Great hotel with an amazing swimming pool on the 20th floor with great views of Canary Wharf and the o2 arena

The rooms are super hot, the bedding especially mattress pad had stains, the bathroom had super bad odor, toilet doesn’t flush properly and the hallways don’t smell good. The bed didn’t have a fitted sheet just flat sheet.

I am regular visitor at the Ark, both my partner and I are always find this apartment hotel very cosy and comfortable to stay. You have all the amenities, plus great location to canary wharf, when I have to work in canar wharf its east access - To walk or the DLR. Overall the staff are amazing, and excellent service by the amazing team. I feel so at home at the Ark. Looking forward to my next stay. Thank you to amazing team at the Ark canary wharf, great service, and friendly.

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in, broken beds, Broken fans, no A/C and very very noisy. It was that bad I ended up leaving a day early. I would have liked a refund for that day too.

Best staff

Room was clean but very small and there were a few maintenance issues (sink didn't drain well and shower door was loose). There was no air conditioning and the room was uncomfortably hot, even when the outside temperature had dropped. There was a fan in the room but it was not enough to keep the room cool and I had difficulty sleeping from the heat. Overall it felt more like student accommodation than a luxury apartment. The staff are very friendly and helpful and fixed the shower door immediately. The reception area is nice and the pool and sauna are one of the best out of any apartments I've stayed in.

Room was very small and hot. All evening and night disturbed by the Docklands light railway. Vibrated through the room. Very small bathroom. Could wash your feet whilst sitting on toilet. People using facilities lack respect. Coming out of lift in big group /rowdy in swim shorts /towels and shirtless. Lifts take ages

Tiny rooms (got two). Clean, warm in July, nice large gym and nice lobby area. Kitchen had nothing in it! Found out on checkout that I that I could have requested it what I needed. Bathroom really small. Like airplane size minus the shower, can’t move inside the shower or you could hurt yourself. 2nd time here but won’t come back unless this place is 1/3 the price and anyone else 😅. Portable fan had so much dust on it as if it was never used. Overall it’s a good place to stay as long as you know the drawbacks.

Rooms were spotless, staff friendly and helpful. The room was like an apartment great balue

Very misleading and very disappointing. The room was no wider than the bed, but the photos don’t show us, they lead to believe that you have at least some space. no air con so the room was unbelievably hot at all hours. Doors in the corridor constantly slamming shut. Maids this morning was making rude remarks towards hotel guest which we could clearly hear from our room. Teenagers constantly coming in and out of reception. Not a good experience and would not stay here again. Extremely disappointed.

The only good thing was the pool steam and sauna facilities, everything else was poor and dangerous. 1) The bed had a sharp metal spring protruding out of it which was only realised when someone got injured from it. 2) The shower door was broken and nearly fell on my face. 3) There was no kitchen equipment (cutlery plates or other basic things). The listing falsely advertised that these would be present. 4) There was no kitchen soap but I guess we dont need it because they did not provide any kitchen items anyway. 5) The fridge shelf was broken. 6) The apartment was extremely hot, surprised there is no air conditioning available. In fairness this was not advertised anyway. 7) The pool and sauna areas had no locker rooms available and there was only 1 closed shower to use between everyone that uses the facilities. 8) The bathroom was the smallest I have seen in my life. The sink was made for a 5 year old and it was so low down you would have to sit on the toilet just to use it. The shower was so small, if you are over 6ft and carry some weight, you are not going to be able to move without getting hit by something. 9) You try to call the front desk a million times and no one answers. You try to message via the expedia app to the hotel and they do not respond. Absolute joke. 10) At one point the whole area was surrounded by police, don't know what happened, but it doesn't seem that safe. Very shocking experience to say the least. I will not be coming back. Avoid.

10/10 we loved it, so beautiful

Staff were amazing, room impossibly and suffocating hot due to lack of aircon and airflow. Stayed on one of the hottest days of the year and from stepping out the lift and into the corridor on the 15 floor I knew I was going to be in for a terrible night. There was a small fan in the room but it didn’t touch the temperature

Sajnos nincs klíma és a vasút oldalán nagy a zaj éjjel is, a nagy meleg és a vasút miatt másik szobát kértünk, ahol lehetett választani, hogy inkább meleg legyen, mint zaj.a 20. emeleten lévő uszoda sokat segített a komfort érzetünkön. Ott már jól tudtunk pihenni. A szállás elhelyezkedése a közösségi közlekedés és éttermek szempontjából kiváló! Összességében meg vagyunk elégedve!
