The Staff excluding the bartenders are not friendly or warm they are euther under paid or just dislike tourists and I'm a Spanish-speaker. The check in process is ridiculous. You literally cant drive into the property till it's about 3pm, then gather into a big room where everything is manually written down to get you a key and brackets. Our bell guy was actually very nice, who had to run back in the rain to get the right key. Rooms are less than average but A/C wirked good for us by not for my aunt who called and never came to fix it. You have to make reservations for buffet whuch is odd and we didn't even get any A la cart lunches or dinner. For the money spent glad we didn't stay longer than 2 days. El Salvador is beautiful and stayed at other hotels that hands down where way better than this all inclusive. They have a long way to go to be up to pare wuth Mexicos all inclusive starting wuth how you greet your guests. The owner of this place needs to step it up as El Salvador is becoming more if a tourist spot and the word will get around to avoid this place. I recommend Fishermans Resort, outside entrance is not much but once you enter the property and room you will not be disappointed.

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price This property is in serious need of a major update. The rooms and bathrooms feel outdated, and while the resort has a lot of potential, it simply doesn’t deliver on value. The food and drinks were extremely disappointing, and the service left much to be desired. Our room had no towels upon arrival, and when we requested them, only three were provided—even though our reservation clearly indicated four guests. The internet connection was unreliable throughout our stay, making it difficult to stay connected. Overall, this was not the experience we expected for the price we paid. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this resort to others.

The location is great the food choices were not...it is nearly impossible to try anything to get any reservations other than to the buffet. The room was dirty and the AC didn't work.

The place is old but has good service and cleanliness is also good.

I didn’t like the fact that I was stop at the gate only because I arrive early at the check in was until 3:45 the heat was unbearable at the gate finally I was able to get to the lobby after I have agreed to pay $30.00 each for me and my wife

Fist the check in process was poor. I felt like I was in a heard of cattle When we finally spoke with someone and told them my grandson would be joining us she said we could not check in until we had a written permission from his father along with a copy of my grandson‘s passport. I told her I had the passport she could copy it she said no it had to come with a letter later. She said she just needs a copy of my son‘s passport with the letter she wasn’t gonna let us check in until I told her my grandson was out with us right now and will be in two days so can we check in without him right now she let us finally check in Very very frustrating then we wanted to make reservations for the special restaurants and found out you had to stand in line every morning to make a reservation for a special restaurant. You couldn’t make all of your reservations at one time that is ridiculous. The food at the restaurant was poor. The food special restaurants was very disappointing. They had four special restaurants. One was closed down the steakhouse she had a choice between a steak unknown type or a Young steak unknown type. That’s for the only steaks available. The grounds are beautiful, but the procedures rules and food are horrible. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this facility.

I enjoyed the location and the tours offered were amazing. My only issue was the fact that I didn’t speak Spanish (my fault not anyone else’s) but when I used translate voice I found some of the staff speaking about me in not the nicest ways

Check in and check out process was terriblw, the staff waa rude. No timea werw given to us for dining reaevations and misaed opportunities to reserve dinner. The fact that we had to reserve our food times was just terrible also.

The property is nice with several pools, but the downside was little to no WiFi in room and the all inclusive food was a miss for me. We were there for 2 nights and drinks were ok but food wise not so much. Same restaurant with same breakfast, lunch and dinner. Unable to reserve other restaurants on site maybe because they were closed.

I was not at all satisfied with this stay. 3 of the 5 restaurants were closed. The unlimited alcoholic drinks were draft, not bottled or canned. The digital TV had no cable access, only 5 national TV channels. The shaved ice station and sauna had been closed for 3 months, poor signal of Wifi in rooms. And finally, once you are there, they tell you that if you are not satisfied with the drink, you can bring in your own drink, a mention that they don't do here.

My family and I have visited this place for the third time, the first time everything was very good, the second time was last year and the service, the food, the customer service, the amenities and the facilities were already starting to change, but last month we returned we had the worst experience they can imagine, they don't care at all the customer service is horrible, the food of very poor quality, the dirty facilities and the dirty rooms, I do not recommend anyone who risks having a bad vacation in that place..

After coming here for a second time and giving the place a second chance, I find that the one area they need to improve is the bedroom and bathroom. When you shower, water comes out of the tub into the bathroom floor, because it’s only covered by a piece of glass. They should protect it by adding full glass door or at least add a curtain to avoid from water splashing the bathroom floor, which becomes dirty, wet and unsafe. So, you get use your towels to keep it clean and help with the splashed water. And, than you end up drying yourself with your hands. Other than that the place is great. I would give them an Excellent review if they would take care of that major issue.

Out side area nice rooms need big update beds are old pillows horrible all inclusive food worst than school cafeteria no drinks by pool for kids no snack very disappointed but pool very nice
