Sucked

The room was very clean and the bathroom was nice but the shower is way too small.Overall we had a great stay with a few hiccups.

This hotel was horrible. It was very old and outdated. It looked like it seen better days back in the 90's and early 2000's. There was no nightly entertainment. The tv's barely had any channels and didn't come in clear. The glasses in the dining area were very old and cloudy looking. The pictures posted on the site were very decieving and the hotel wanted me to pay for an upgrade which wasnt much better.

We stayed here 6 days. The positives: property is clean & great location. All rooms face the ocean. Beach is beautiful, pools are clean, plenty of loungers, pool towels. Mixed drinks were fantastic! Staff is friendly…especially the ladies at the tour-desk! Sunsets were amazing! Negatives: the property is old. And not ‘vintage’ old, just…outdated. The toilet plumbing resort-wide is questionable. (We were told by multiple people that the tap water is filtered, we drank it with zero issues). The rooms are TINY. We are average build and had to turn sideways to walk between the bed and dresser. I have no idea how more than 2 people could fit in one room. These are ‘no frills’ rooms. Mattress is ok, and they don’t clean rooms during ur stay. You have to ask for fresh towels. Food was decent..the first 2 days. Then it’s just repetitive. They rotated 2 restaurants for dinner, so you had to ask daily where to eat. It didn’t matter because you will be choosing from the same variety every meal, everyday. Limited lunch items. We ate burgers & chicken by the pool most days. Several areas weren’t open on site & the gift shop was rarely open during posted hours. All eating is outside or open-air dining. They need ceiling fans! I should add: there was nightly entertainment. Singing, music etc. our absolute favorite was the steel drum band! It was awesome! Transportation was available onsite, for extra fee, but made it very convenient! Overall it was quiet & relaxing! Solid 3 stars.

Nice beach; nice pool; nice staff; standard accommodation; too many flies around the meal stations so had to be careful about eating

We were leaving for a sail on Saturday so we stayed there one night as it’s very close. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating, but the resort is very dated and the check in process fair. The food options at the buffet for dinner and lunch were limited, but I’m guessing that’s because it was low season. Still feel it could have been better. The large pool is very nice and has a shaded area near the swim up bar.

I think they should have more golf carts so we can ride around the neighborhood for rent or in the package deal all exclusive

The location is perfect!No complaints about the beautiful beach, bar, or the food at the outdoor restaurantThere is only one option for dinner and that is the buffet.They try to have different food every night but overall the food was just ok.Breakfast/lunch were pretty much the same every day.They do not have enough staffing and therefor you dont get housekeeping unless you pay for the upgraded room and even with that we only got our room cleaned twice during an 8 day stay.We were not happy about the room and when asked about an upgrade they said they could not do it and needed permission from a higher supervisor that was only there during the morning.We paid for an ocean view with a king size be and they said they did not have any king size beds on any other floor other than the bottom level.Our view was not the best even though we paid for it.There were not that many people at the resort and therefor should've been able to accommodate a free upgrade to the next level room and to the third floor but they wouldn't do it. We were extremely disapointed by that.We got to the resort after a long day of travel and they did not have any water dispenser or water bottles to offer.They had some welcoming drinks off to the side sitting in the hot sun but that was not even offered to us or any of the other 10-15 guests who were ahead of us also checking in.They only had 1 person working the front desk.There was an empty fridge in the room, not what you expect from all inclusive resort

The beach was beautiful clean calm lots of beach chairs and shelters close to beach bars and food options staff was always pleasant and helpful Accommodation was clean and comfortable Food was a mix of local and international cuisine Grounds was large and well maintained with tropical plants and coconut palms

Beautiful beach and friendly staff

We really enjoyed our stay. Since it was the off season and the weather was iffy, we weren't sure what to expect. Although they were doing maintenance because of the time of year, I'm happy to say that the property exceeded our expectations. The food was quite good, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the facilities themselves were in good shape overall, and because it was off season, it was easy to hang out in a variety of places without being crowded. We had a few torrential downpours with thunder & lightning and the seating under the covered areas was a bit limited, but the staff worked hard to make sure everyone was comfortable wherever they decided to hang out. It was a great stay and we wouldn't hesitate to go back, especially in the off season.

The staff , dining options and the beach were all great.

Staff were very helpful. Especially, receptionist and bell service men. It would be nice if the hotel considers being more flexible with meal arrangements for guests.

I did not like the absence of ice cream

Very basic property where my business partner and I had to request room changes due to not having hot water. Dinning is very limited with only one restaurant open - Italian several days of the week and Indian buffet another. Hair in the bathroom and shower. Rooms are outdated

Amazing waking up to a scenic beach view.

Beautiful beach. Hard to get around without a car. Staff was friendly. Was disappointed that they changed the al e carte to buffet for the last week. Food was not as good.

This property is definitely on one of the best beaches in Antigua. However the rooms definitely need an upgrade and the food options are very minimal and there is basically little to no entertainment. There are definitely pros and cons.
