I would rate this hotel a 3.5 out of 5. The property itself was clean, and most of the staff were great—especially the servers we encountered at Sole, Fresco, L.G. Smith’s, and Aquarius. Housekeeping also did an excellent job keeping our room clean throughout our stay. The main reason for my rating is the all-inclusive package, which I do not feel was worth the money. We previously stayed at Wind Creek Curaçao and purchased the all-inclusive package there, and the cost felt justified based on what was included. Our refrigerator was fully stocked with beverages, snacks, and chips, and there were also stronger restaurant options. Unfortunately, our experience at Wind Creek Aruba was very different. We booked an ocean suite and added the all-inclusive package at check-in, expecting the offering to be at least somewhat similar since it is the same hotel brand. However, when we asked about having the refrigerator stocked, we were told that we could bring a water bottle to the pool area and refill it at the water fountain. After paying an additional $2,000 for the all-inclusive package, that response made it clear that the value simply was not there. Again, the hotel itself was fine: the property was clean, and the staff provided very good service. But based on our experience, I would not recommend purchasing the all-inclusive package, as it did not deliver enough value for the price.

We had an amazing stay. Everyone was nice and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. It's cool there are 2 properties within walking distance. The ocean suites has 2 pools a hot tub and a sandy lagoon. The marina hotel has a pool and alot of high-end shops on street level. Of course the star.... having access to their private island. Flamingo island is accessable by water taxi that guests have free access to. Just have to bring your room key so they scan it before getting on the water taxi. The area around the hotel is perfect. There are restaurants and shops. My daughter and I will definitely be back at Renaissance Wind Creek.

The property was wonderful, safe, clean, and prime location; close to everything.

The resort was listed as ADULT ONLY which is why we elected to stay there again after our last visit 8 years ago. There was not a single day where children were not prevalent in the lobby, around the bar, pool and common areas. We were advised by staffing those were “public areas” and the hotel could not prohibit them. Public areas? Does Marriott not OWN and maintain those areas? They are NOT public! In addition, every charge made in the resort for drinks, food - whatever - automatically generated a 15 - 16% “service charge” which was NOT posted, we were NEVER advised of and did not realize until our last day there. So for every gratuity we elected to pay on our own (usually @ 30%), we were actually paying 45 - 46%. This amounted to over $125 ADDITIONAL gratuity over our nine nights there. And the resort fee of nearly $80 per night (including tax) is COMPLETELY ridiculous, considering most hotels charge around a third of that. The resort itself and staff there could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Our room was very nice with a small balcony and harbour view and serviced every day we were there. A power outage that lasted an entire DAY was problematic and we were not advised of it until the day before it occurred. Our room was basically useless from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. There was no electric whatsoever or hot water available. After a brief discussion with management and Expedia, the resort did agree to refund one nights stay to our credit card on file.

Staff were amazing! The boat too Flamingo Island was everything we wished for. 2nd time at this resort but it won’t be my last! ❤️

Small rooms, uncomfortable bed, no chairs in the balcony, shower door doesn’t close. During our stay, 14 hrs of power outage in the rooms, leaking hallway sealing. Beat up rooms and a hotel that requires few upgrades

We love this property because of how unique the layout is, the staff is incredible & it's near a great marketplace. Our favorite part is the Renaissance island we can go to - it's paradise!

I was very disappointed with my stay at the Renaissance Marina Hotel. Based on the price point, I expected a much higher level of hospitality, comfort, communication, and overall service. The staff overall did not come across as warm or welcoming, and there was a noticeable lack of hospitality throughout my stay. The room I stayed in also felt musty, which made the stay less comfortable than expected. In addition, there was scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, July 1, which significantly impacted the guest experience. Per the guest information notice, the work was expected to begin at 9:00am and last approximately 12 hours. During this time, air conditioning and hot water were temporarily unavailable in the guest rooms, with only limited electrical access available. In my experience, full electricity did not come back until approximately 9:57pm. Given the impact this had on the stay, I asked whether there would be any credit or compensation, and I was told there would be none. This was very disappointing, especially considering the cost of the hotel and the level of service expected at this price point. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel. For the price, the experience was not worth it. The only highlights were Kim, who was helpful in providing suggestions, and Cesar, who was very sympathetic on my last day and took the time to listen to my disappointment regarding the customer service at the hotel. I appreciated their kindness.
