Our stay wasn’t amazing had minor issues in the room. Shampoo/body wash were empty, toilet wasn’t flushing properly, drain in the tub was slow and would collect lots of water during a shower, the phone didn’t work. Restaurant staff were ok but our favorite were Lillian, Eunice, Ali and G from the beach. Bartender did take quite a bit to make the cocktails, food was ok more local dishes would’ve been great. I know it’s outdoors but the fly’s were just obnoxious and annoying. Beach was amazing, views and quiet. Went to relax and we sure did enjoy our surroundings.

This resort really surprised me. It has an optimal quality-price ratio. The athmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. The beach is really nice and all amenities. It's really clean and well mantained. Water to shower is not salty so you can have a proper shower, not like as many other resorts and hotels in watamu that have salty water. The food is really good (I am Italian and quite fussy about it) lots of variety o dishes and every day is never the same. The Resort staff is exquisite (from the kitchen, waiters, pool area, reception) to ensure you are having a great time and to satisfy all your needs. A BIG thanks to Joseph at Reception that went an extra mile to make sure I was happy during all my stay. I won't hesitate to recommend Turtle Bay to friends and family and will definitely go back!

Rooms are basic and in need of modernising and decorating - old and dirty, and the doors are very insecure. Service is terrible, most staff are very slow and indifferent, assuming that is you can actually find them. Drinks take an age to arrive and you have to ask several times. If you are looking for cheap and cheerful then the hotel is ok, but it is not somewhere i would choose to stay again.

This resort rates excellent on all counts. Cleanliness is top notch. Staff are super friendly. Not our first visit and will not be our last but this is paradise on a plate in Mama Africa

The room was as promised and clean. The food and drinks were very good and staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return and recommend this resort.

Great place to stay on the beach in Watamu, proximity to Malindi international airport was super given construction between Mombasa and Watamu! The private adults pool is amazing for those without kids that want a quiet pool. If you are across from the dining/entertainment area though it is loud with music at night until about 12:30 am - next time will request room on the opposite side. I had a wedding blessing that was absolutely incredible - Nancy the planner was the best!!!

All inclusive, but share what that means to vacationers. Just because on the beach someone is wearya Turtle Bay T shirt, doesn't mean they work for the Hotel.

Nice property even if it is a little bit outdated. Special mention for the staff and hair salon.

Sehr schöne Hotelanlage, schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick gutes Essen und sehr freundliches Personal. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Urlaub zum entspannen.

This resort is unique in the combination of guests it hosts:: I love that even during Kenya's high international tourism season there are always lots of Kenyan families at Turtle Bay. The price is reasonable, and keeps the beauty of the Kenya coast available to the people it belongs to while also showing it off hospitably and beautifully to the world.

The place needs some work

It was perfectly comfortable and the rooms had air conditioning. There was a limited gluten free menu and the included wine was dreadful. The pool was lovely and the staff excellent. It is a but tired. The booking of sunbeds was very tedious as some people rarely even came to the bed while others had no space. The music at night was the same ever day, was not really catered for the needs of the huests that were there and very loud in the bedrooms

TV did not work. Staff and even manager called Ken made no effort to fix it.

Rooms are in dire need renovations & upgrade. Service is good. Location & beach is amazing including food
