Peaceful, tranquil, not crowded, comfortable. Enjoyed the feeling of being in nature, seeing & hearing birds, being on the beach near water, friendly staff. Could improve on service, long wait times for menus, taking orders, meals brought to table. Communication issues between staff & management, for example new options offered to guests but staff not correctly informed, or guidelines not updated, caused guest to be billed for items already paid for. Everything corrected after guest complained to front office, but a hassle to deal with. Overall a pleasant stay.

Beautiful scenery

This hotel is a hidden oasis. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in celebration of his birthday. We were pleasantly surprised to find thoughtful birthday decorations in our room upon arrival, thanks to the wonderful staff. The rooms were impeccably clean, the grounds beautifully maintained, and the food was both spectacular and great value for money.

Our room was so close to the beach and the restaurant over looked the water and the food and prices was not too bad. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Even the Sea weed which took over the shore line did not hamper my enjoyment of the beautiful sun-kissed water. If you drive I recommend you bring or rent a car in order to .get around - it will cost less than having to depend on taxi services.

Beautiful location. Very nice room

Overall I enjoyed my stay. The inn is right on a beautiful beach and you can hear the waves crashing 24 hours a day. The staff is pleasant and helpful, but they are sticklers for timeliness and policy, so make sure you know things like what times you can go to the restaurant and when you have to check out. There really isn't any service on the beach itself so we had to find and position our own beach loungers, pull down the kayak and go to the bar for drinks. There was also no phone in the room so we had to walk to the front desk with any questions and room service isn't an option. Be aware there are loud birds on property so be prepared with some ear plugs. The property is a little dated but still beautiful and serene, the pool and hot tub are nice and were never crowded. The menu options had variety and everyone appeared to enjoy their meals. I would definitely visit again.

Serene and peaceful. Beachfront rooms have perfect beach views. The beach waves and the birds in the trees are melodic creating the best music for rest and relaxation.

Fantastic stay and beautiful area

Blue Waters Inn has become one of our favorite places in the world. From the lovely Chelsea welcoming us and making sure our accommodation was correct. The friendly and courteous hospitality of the restaurant staff. The chef’s amazing curry chicken with tomato and eggplant chops with paratha roti! The serenity of the surroundings! The warmth and humility of the local residents. We got a flat tire when we were a few minutes away and received almost immediate assistance and a ride to the resort. We travel extensively and Tobago always captures my heart each visit! Blue Waters and Speyside are truly a Gem! We didn’t want to leave! Breakfast options are delicious! Try the Coconut Bake and Saltfish to get a real taste of local cuisine. Watching the Hummingbirds come to join in for breakfast is a treat. The infinity Pool and Jacuzzi are a wonderful compliment to the beach. Kayaking and Paddleboating are a fun way to enjoy the water as well. A truly beautiful and enjoyable experience! We definitely will be back!
