It’s probably not fair to rate the reception based on my feeling when we arrived at 2:00 am, jet lagged and tired. I am a Marriott Rewards member, and I felt my question over breakfast in the morning was a simple one that could be addressed immediately. The staff member politely told me that he would need to check with his supervisor in the morning. Even though the request was granted in the morning, my experience with the reception staff has been one of polite efficiency. We just came from a week in Doha at a different hotel chain where I felt the staff was delighted to see us every time. The warm fuzzies seem to be missing, but everything else has been wonderful.
