The proper grounds are beautiful with numerous quiet places to relax or read. The room had a spectacular view of a pool and beach! It isn’t peak season so it wasn’t crowded at all. We had breakfast and dinner at Hemmingways which is one of our favorite restaurants on the island. I love it here and can’t wait to go back!

The staff was absolutely wonderful, The unit we were staying in we had some Work being done on it, but the staff made up for it. I would highly suggest staying here.

If you want "fine" this is your place. I have to say, the staff was OK, nothing exceptional, also nothing bad. The room was fine, there was no one at the resort so nothing was crowded, but there was a TON of construction all around which was BEYOND disappointing and very disturbing. Not only the new resort being built NEXT DOOR so there was CONSTANT cranes and hammering and drilling and TONS of noise from that, but also this resort seemed to be doing lots of repairs on units as well so there was jackhammering of tile patios and hammering with screened porches being replaced, and not just like a few minutes of noise, it was ALL DAY from 8am until 4pm! No peace and quiet by the pool, no peace and quiet at the beach. In fact, they were also replacing the boardwalk access to the beach so there was that inconvenience and noise as well. I truly wish someone had been honest about all of this in my booking, I would have chosen a different property. Instead they hid this and made my vacation to celebrate my birthday very annoying and unenjoyable. At least Tracy and Carolyn and the restaurant staff were nice, sad, but true that was the highlight of the entire week!

The Sands was a lovely resort. Grace Bay is our favorite place in the world and The Sands is also conveniently located to the shopping area as well. We loved the pool facing the ocean and the restaurant on site was cute. However, I would not reserve a first floor Garden Suite again. We were disappointed in ours as the patio area was enclosed and there was no airflow. It was very hot and surrounded by foliage so felt a little claustrophobic. We asked to be moved to the second floor and the staff was very lovely and accommodating. Our second floor suite was very nice!

The st Regis is currently under construction and it’s in the very early stages. Needless to say it was extremely noisy. At times the staff felt a little cold, particularly at the restaurant. The grounds were under maintenance, which we were not made aware until check in. The highlight was how beautiful the part of grace bay that the sands sits on. It was unmatched.

The hotel was very nice great condition!! Definitely would have been better with a free meal!!maybe breakfast since it’s not all inclusive but i definitely enjoyed my stay and was comfortable!! And it also cane be safer it’s to easy for outsiders to access the property! But it’s still a great place!

It would be nice if there was another restaurant at the property. And if there was a shuttle servuce

Stayed at The Sands for 5 nights. Construction nextdoor at future St. Regis Resort is constant, 7 days a week, and work begins at 7AM and lasts all day. The sawing and power tool sounds penetrate the rooms and can be heard while trying to relax on the beach / at the pool as well. We didnt have a working TV in our living room the entire stay after 2 calls on 2 different days to request it be fixed. Toilet clogged in one of the two bathrooms and no one came to fix it (someone in our party had to fix it themself). The beach and pool area were great and Hemingway’s was a nice restaurant on-site. Close proximity to the town as well.

Excellent stay

The room was large and very well equipped and decorated, except for the mattress of the sofa bed which was really bad. The hotel changed it only after many complains and eventually gave us a dusty mattress smelling of mould. When we complained again they tried to fix the problem with a clean cover but it was then the end of the week and not at all the best solution. We didn’t like either the fixed mosquito nets on the terrace; the fixed nets become dusty and the view on the ocean were definitely ruined by the nets. We also didn’t appreciate the poor service on the beach: at 5 pm all the chairs were stacked just in the middle of the beach, and guests had to move their staff elsewhere. Also be aware that the hotel is just next a huge construction site of new hotel/condos: it is fair to say that the construction is visible from many other places of the beach and that there are also many other construction sites all over the island. Yet, the Sands is just next to it. Overall, the structure is nice with well kept gardens, and with a small effort from the management it will definitely improve a lot.

La reception ha bisogno di persone più professionali e disponibili. Molto efficienti e attente le concierges e le donne delle pulizie E’ una struttura penalizzata da un enorme albergo in costruzione propio accanto che produce un rumore continuo di cui avremmo dovuto essere informati ciò non consente di godere neanche della spiaggia E ‘ una struttura adatta a famiglie numerose ma non a coppie che desiderano quiete.
