Nice hotel on top of a restaurant conveniently located off the busy Main Street. Stan, Marin, Luka and the service staffs including the cleaning mademoiselles were all very gracious and helpful. Felt like we were staying at friends’ house. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Great stay at a very clean boutique hotel. The staff is excellent and Stan went out of his way to get us a to go breakfast before 7 am for our Daytrip. Great location in Old Town.

Awesome, unique boutique hotel right in the heart of old town. There are only about 5 rooms in this hotel, so the staff knows you and treats you like family. They took care of every need with a smile and a laugh. Damir, Stan, and the other guys were great to us.

We LOVED this hotel. It was small and intimate but filled with a modern design style and clean accommodations. Tucked away on a street the old town within the walls, it provided a quiet and convenient location. The breakfasts were to die for with eggs, bread, fruit and meat and cheese plates, but they offered gluten free bread for an allergy. The Glow room (smallest of those offered) was bigger than I expected, comfortably fitting two large bags. But the best part was the service - the team was exceptional. From being welcomed, to serving us at dinner and breakfast and making recommendations. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

The Guesthouse Forty Four is a wonderful location to stay in the heart of Old town Dubrovnik. The manager and the staff treated us like family during our six day stay, nothing was too much trouble. The manager even invited us to his 40th Birthday. My wife and I have travelled for many years now and have stayed at some wonderful hotels throughout the world however the staff at Guesthouse Forty Four made our stay memorable and I would have to put this guesthouse at the top of my list of places to stay. The room we stayed in had all expected amenities and was clean and comfortable. The Resteraunt run by the guesthouse is excellent and the food is well priced and the staff make the dining experience one to remember. We are already planning a return visit. As for Dubrovnik old town, it is like being in a fairytale City…..

Had a beautiful room with a patio. Staff was exceptional! I’d especially like to recognize Stan. He welcomed us by inviting us to the GMs 40 birthday party and provided a lunch for us to take on an early morning excursion that required us to leave before breakfast was served. The people and guesthouse were outstanding.

We were meet by the Manager Damir at the city gates as no cars are allowed into Dubrovnik old town. He was so welcoming and maid us feel relaxed straight from the initial meeting. He took time to introduce us to his staff and invited us to a family party. The guest house is immaculate and so well maintained, it is in the old part of town well located close to the city walls and the harbour. 10 out of 10 for everything so far.

We could not have had a better stay or better service. The entire staff went out of their way to make it a great experience

Damir and his staff provide an exceptional service and experience at Forty Four. From the moment someone greets you right outside the walls of the Old City to walk you to the hotel, to the care they put in maintaining the rooms and the attention to detail during the hearty breakfasts and any other interactions, they make you feel welcome, safe and in a family environment. I would definitely recommend Forty Four, and whenever I go back to Dubrovnik, I will stay there again.

Fantastic stay, breakfast cooked fresh each morning to your liking, all the staff were lovely and it was a great central location in the old town. Would highly recommend!

Excellent service, friendly staff, very clean, modern rooms and its in the heart of oldtown. Could not believe the owner met us at the gate of oldtown to take us to the hotel and walked us back when we leaving to make sure we are getting on the right taxi to the airport. I would deffinitely stay here again!!

Damir and the entire staff were so kind, friendly, and helpful. They made us feel very welcome and looked after. Highly recommend this location! Also, the location is very convenient to everything in the Old Town. We would definitely stay here again if/when we visited Dubrovnik. Thanks for the wonderful experience ☺️

The staff met us at an easy to find location and escorted us to the neatly hidden hotel. It was situated in the heart of the Old Town. Everyone was over the top friendly and kind.

It’s beautiful, classy, clean, and the staff is wonderful. Stan, who made us coffees and breakfasts as well as helped with luggage, is a lovely and warm person with excellent hospitality. I plan to be in Dubrovnik again and would not stay anywhere else but here.

Amazing, convenient location with very hospitable staff. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in Dubrovnik.
