Stayed several nights during a week in June 2025. From the airport you have to pay attention that directions take you to the front of the building whereas valet parking is on the side on a one way street. Valets were super friendly and helpful, check in with Quentin was easy and smooth. A nice perk was that they offered complimentary wine and margaritas at happy hour.
The hotel is clean and modern. The room was great, except they have barn doors to the restroom, which I typically don't love. Overall the cleanliness was on point.
The Kimpton's bar and restaurant were both really nice and the food at Borgello's was really good. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the service was superb.
The hotel is right in the middle of everything, a few minutes walk to Old Europe bakery where they are known for their cheese Danishes and coffee was great. There are lots of artisan shops in the area where you can support local artists and buy unique gifts and souvenirs to take home.
Attended a show at the Orange Peel which was a ten minute stroll from the Kimpton and next door to the Wicked Weed Brewery, which were both a great experience.
All in all the Kimpton is the perfect location for a nice and reasonably priced hotel to experience much of what downtown Asheville has to offer. Will continue to stay here as I visit family once or twice a year.
