Gorgeous accomodation with the nicest, most wonderful staff. Our room was spacious and spotless. The food is wonderful. Casa de Adobe is a 10-15 minute taxi ride north of the main area, so a quiet, location with good amenities close by and easy access to the main tourism areas of Oaxaca.

The courtyard swimming pool area very very nice. The staff was very nice.

When we arrived to check in the hotel did not have power or water. Obviously we were not going to stay there especially because they weren’t sure when it would be back on. We had to book another hotel last minute and did not stay here at all. I have tried to call every day to talk to the manager who is apparently the only one who can discuss a refund, but she has conveniently not been there every single time. It’s been almost a week so of them saying “she’ll be here tomorrow at 10” then me calling and she’s once again not there. Very stressful and frustrating experience.

La propiedad esta muy bonita, la zona en la que se encuentra no es la mejor porque no esta cerca del centro pero si vienen en auto es una buena opción. Las instalaciones son agradables pero hay mucho ruido porque todas las habitaciones estan cerca de ma alberca y tienen luz las palmeras que es un poco molesto incluso con las cortinaa blackout se filtra luz. No me gusto que en la reserva explícitamente indica que incluye el desayuno y no lo querian dar, le echaban la culpa a expedia cuando el hotel es quien ingresa la oferta de servicios. Hacen ver como si estuviéramos pidiendo cosas gratis cuando es algo que venia incluido en el precio que se pagó. Algunos de los valet parking no saben manejar bien y no colocan bien el freno de mano lo que hace que todo el peso del auto caiga en la transmisión y mas en la propiedad que tiene una pendiente pronunciada. El dia que llegamos lo hicimos antes del horario de checkin (1pm aproximadamente) nos indicaron que podiamos hacer uso de las instalaciones y del descuento del 20% en alimentos y bebidas de la membresia de expedia y que nos indicarian cuando nuestra habitación estuviera lista. Sin embargo, nunca nos buscaron para indicarnos que ya estaba lista la habitación y tampoco querian respetar el 20% en alimentos y bebidas, tuve que ir a preguntar a recepción por mi check-in pasadas las 3pm (que era la hora de de checkin y que no nos avisaron que ya estaba listo) y pedir que aplicaran el descuento. Mala experiencia inicial.

Bonito lugar, muy limpio, tanto en areas comunes como la habitacion. La recepcionista Marian y valet Rolando de 2do turno super amables y serviciales, igual que el valet de 2do turno, pero el recepcionista de 1er turno, muy seco en su trato, no era grosero pero para ser un host le hace falta mejorar su trato al cliente. Lo malo fue que se les fue la luz parcialmente y eso afecto el suministro de agua y el A/C, es decir, no habia agua en regaderas, lavamanos y sanitario, ni airea acondicionado, eatabdo a temperaturas de 29C es grave y solo se limitaron a disculparse y decirnos que no sabian cuando habría agua. Es algo que junca me habia pasado en un hotel. Tampoco incluyeron el desayuno que se menciona en la descripcion de la propoedad, tuve que hablar a Expedia para que me lo incluyeran solo 2 dias de los 4 dias que me hospedé.

The room was beautiful and clean however, the pool was cold and they never turned on the heat, not even in the Jacuzzi and we were looking forward to it. What’s the purpose of having one? First night we were there, we asked for ice and only came after several calls and late at night. We asked for coffee cups and they arrived the day we left. The worst part, on the first evening, due to a storm, they lost a transformer that caused us being left with out power and water till 3 pm the next day. We could not bathe, wash or flush till they brought in buckets of water from the pool. We get it, the storm is part of nature, but in a hotel, you would think they would have an emergency power plant especially if these storms happen often in the area. Apparently the staff has suggested to management that they invest in one but they have yet to approve the expense. For convenience, we had dinner in the hotel the day we arrived. It was a seafood buffet that lacked seafood options and the presentation was also lacking. We tried their breakfast and that was much better and convenient since it’s a bit far. In the end, we were disappointed and felt short changed. We were offered a massage and although we appreciated the offer we just didn’t have the time or the mood for it.

Really loved this hotel! The staff and driver outside the hotel were super friendly and we would definitely stay here again if we visit Oaxaca. The only issue we had was there was a thunderstorm and the hotel lost access to water. So for one day, there was no running water in the rooms, but that wasn’t really the hotel‘s fault. And they did everything to accommodate that until they got it fixed. There’s one restaurant on site which had really good food and drinks. The pool is amazing and heated, and the hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the centro. Ask for Alfredo if you need a ride anywhere, he’s the BEST! The only thing I could possibly complain about is the room didn’t stay that cold with the AC, but it wasn’t awful.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel restaurants and swimming pool were great.

The receptionist working the front desk in the evening seem to be out of touch with guest. I asked a question regarding a tour and she seemed bothered to help. Other than that everyone was really nice. Place is beautiful !

This place is amazing, from the esthetic to the staff, they make you feel like home and just make your stay. Gracias Miriam for your hospitality.

El hotel está muy lindo y cómodo, somos familia de 4 y fue perfecto que nos asignaran 2 camas grandes en una misma habitación y a la vez con privacidad cada una, el personal es muy atento

Excelente lugar, acogedor, amplio, limpio y un servicio 10/10, la alberca esta impecable, simplemente superó mis expectativas.

We absolutely loved our stay here! So beautiful and clean which we really appreciated. The area is safe as well. Staff is great, special shoutout to Solares who made us feel very welcomed.

La tranquillité, la grandeur de la chambre et la propreté des lieux. Les petits déjeuners étaient plutôt banals et l’internet très faible.

The only thing that was at times frustrating was trying to communicate because I did not speak Spanish. Some of the staff could understand some English, so eventually we usually managed to get what we wanted. They were all very nice and efficient.

We stayed a week, enjoying Oaxaca while having the Casa de Adobe to escape to. Rooms were comfortable and beautifully appointed. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Grounds were lush and enjoyable. Where things could be improved: The hot tub/spa was colder than the pool which was not something we would expect. Requires a cab ride to get to city center.
