Friendly, accommodating staff.

Tao is a great small boutique hotel (11 rooms) with the best location along the riverside. The Penthouse suite was a wonderful room with fabulous views from its balcony. The front desk team provided support and services throughout my stay that made me feel like a VIP. They helped us with transport, tours and dining reservations offering great recommendations. We also enjoyed having the La Croisette restaurant right across the street for many of our meals. If you stay over the weekend, you will have the riverside night market right at your door for great access to all the food and fun. Best of all, you get all this for a great room rate making it one of the best values around.

Just off the main esplanade area, walkable to boat rides, the Palace, shopping, food and bars. Great location. No on site laundry apparent, although the Expedia ad does note laundry facilities.

We booked the executive suite room. It was very nice and clean, very roomy, and well equipped. We generally enjoyed our stay. The hotel is right in the middle of town on a busy road at the Mekong river side. Internet at the hotel is virtually non existent, so it’s a good idea to purchase a local SIM. One thing we were disappointed about was the management complaining to us about the littlest things. That is why I gave only 3 stars for communication.

Tao is right on the Mekong river, in the centre of Phnom Penh. It is a clean, comfortabel and economical place to stay. We like it.

The room was spacious, but the lighting in the bathroom was horrible. It made it very difficult to do any kind of grooming.

The Tao Riverside Residence is a fantastic place to stay. My room was huge and right on the river with a fantastic view. It had a fully stocked mini bar with very reasonable prices. I also got to park my scooter right out front all day for no fee. It is also walking distance to all the cool bars. I highly recommend this place to stay in Phnom Penh.

The room was very big and very nice as well as the balcony to sit on and enjoy the river view at night along with on weekends the gatherings that happen. Very easy to get to everything and central to everything. The staff, especially Jenna as always such a breath of fresh air to see and greet you. Bars right around block and great places to eat. Will be my go to place when staying again for the price and location.

This place was very nice. The view from the room was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to help me out. They were fantastic. If I ever return to Phnom Penh I will stay here again.

Big room. WiFi was hit and miss and no hot water but otherwise a great stay. Close to Riverside and multiple bars and restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay ! We were in room 202: a spacious,clean room with a big balcony ;2 seats and a table on the balcony.Very nice to watch the people passing by. The bed was excellent and also the wifi deserves 10/10 ! The bathroom too is spacious with a big shower. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful ! In the neighbourhood are many places where you can eat/drink. I would recommend this place to all people who are going on a holiday to Phnom Penh !!!
