Wonderful Staff beautiful property

The staff was excellent but I feel that the hotel itself needs a little update. There were cracks on the roof our balcony. The fridge to the door was broken.the food from the buffet was alright. The rooms were okay nothing spectacular. For the price you’re paying to staying I believe it should have better amenities

Construction next-door was terrible. They start digging at 7 AM.

We have stayed at the Barceló 4-5 times. The staff are amazing and the food has improved tremendously since post Pandemic. I will say my husband and I are highly disappointed that the Barcelo no longer maintains the water features for the iguanas next to the buffet due to an ignorant guest that decided to hand feed an iguana, supposedly was bitten and then said they were going to sue the Barcelo. I truly believe the Barcelo should be supportive of the iguanas since they are native to Aruba and are protected. The guest should be banned from the island and retrospectively sued for not complying with the rules to not feed the wildlife.

The food was very good

housekeeping staff did not provide enough towels each day and when asked for extra towels did not comply. Overall the complete staff was pleasant, smiling and courteous! I was in room #1202. Across the hall was an employee door that loudly slammed closed each time used; about 15 to 20 every morning from 5:45am till10:00am. It interrupted my sleep several times during the night especially in the morning. This was the only issue the resort was excellent on every other thing they offered and provided.

I spent a lot of money to go here Aruba is very nice but this hotel is not worth it the bed sheet were dirty when we arrived the the tv remote did not work the ac also did not work the room door was peeling of paint then in the shower the soap dispenser were broken then we you go to dinner the table clothes are all stained or ripped half the menus are missing pages I was unfortunately not pleased at all for the amount of money I spent on this trip.

Clean room with beautiful view. Buffet could be improved, especially the lunch buffet. Overall nice stay.

Clean rooms, great food, amazing staff.

The hotel is pretty and very well located. It has two towers of rooms,abit massive but as most hotels. Accomodations were ok, but rooms seem a little small as per my opinion. We were three and with the extra bed, the room was too crowded. There was barely space for storage and we had to repeatedly ask for towels. Staff was mostly friendly and food was very tasty and offered varieties and gluten free alternatives. Specialty restaurants were very good, specially the one located by the pool/beach. The only thing I can mark as negative was the cleaning. Terrible timing and a horrible job (specially the bathroom), if they improve this aspect, I will surely grant them 5 stars.

The property is in a great area where it is easy to get around and walk. The hotel definitely need improvement in food option and quality. The specialty restaurants weren’t that great and some of the time we even ended up eating outside even though we had the all inclusive package.

Some people reserve beach chairs at 3:30 in the morning just to get same palapas 😠

Room was very clean, comfy beds. Staff was very friendly. Great location although food at buffet was terrible.

We stayed here in Sept since it is usually the "off" season & we were surprised that it was very crowded here. The pool/beach situation is horrible, people put their stuff on the chairs & never use the chairs. Every morning it was an ordeal trying to find 2 chairs & we were out there around 9. We would leave around 1-2 & still no one would show for the "claimed" chairs & forget about the pool you can't even find a chair there at all. The restaurants would say they were booked or tell you the only times available were between 8-9 pm, we walked by the one restaurant & half the seats were empty. The restaurants that we did get into were only half full so not real sure what that was about. As for drinks, we would use the pool bar during the day & at night leave the hotel & go somewhere else. I am not ok drinking with children in a bar & people thought it was okay to have their kids in there. As for the room it was nice & clean & we did have an ocean view. We wouldn't stay here again but we will definitely be back to Aruba
