No lo recomendaría, mala ubicación, la calle es muy oscura, nos cayó desde la ventana de una habitación del hotel un plato con arroz, un taxista conocido de ellos nos hizo pasar un gran disgusto amenazándonos. Si que bien es cierto es muy económico es mejor gastarse algo más y buscar un hotel más limpio y seguro. Por cierto no coger el taxista Ali.

Hotel owner Mahmut and the staff do their best to help in every way. Breakfast and meals are also good.

I am amazed by this hostel. The owner, Mahmud, is very kind, gentle, and gives good advice. I have never seen someone who is so accommodating to others. And his work is very fast and accurate. Also, all the tours he introduces are inexpensive and enjoyable. For example, the tour I took around the west side was only $10 for a guided tour of the major sights. On the way back from the tour I was dropped off at the Temple of Karnak for free and was able to see all the famous sites on the west and east sides in one day. The other staff at the hostel are friendly and always greet you with a smile. One of the most notable things about the building is the roof top. You can relax or just have a good time with other travelers. I got a lot of travel information here. Of course, you can also have a good meal at a reasonable price. I had dinner here every time. I never thought I would find such a fun hostel in Egypt. Please come and dive into this wonderful space!

Very functional place with everything you need and a beautiful place on the roof to sit and eat or just relax! Both singel rooms and hostel rooms available! The people working there are very kind and helps with everything from booking trips to fix facilities on the room

The staff was really helpful and catering to their guests’ needs. I love the free breakfast which is included in the inexpensive standard room I had. It’s quite a steal! And you can ask the hotel to prepare food for you, no need to go outside to eat when you don’t want to, they serve a big serving of chicken dinner with Egyptian side dishes at $4 usd! There’s a street market going to the train station that is along an estimated 2km walk. The hostel is inside a residential building complex but the area is quite safe. Walking towards the main city through bustling corners and blocks where street peddlers lined up to sell different goods and fruits, it reminds me of Binondo and Quiapo in Manila. Food is so inexpensive like inflation hasn’t touched them yet.. Make your stay longer, especially in Luxor🙂 What a relaxing wonderful town.
