Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Nice location with a cinema and small dining court across the street. Spacious and clean room. Comfortable bed. Big and clean bathroom.

Very modern and clean facility, right in the center of Mandalay... the moat surrounding the royal palace began across the intersection... just a great place to be located to see all of Mandalay's offerings.... The staff was super sweet and helpful, and the rooftop bar has a commanding view of the city, which is really nice at night....

After having spent two days at a terrible hotel, it was a joy to book the New Wave Hotel! It is a brand new hotel in Mandalay. The staff welcomed us warmly and our few words of Burmese went a long way. The gracious lobby has fine Burmese decor. My room had a king size bed and spacious bathroom with a rain shower head. A table and chairs, writing area and ample closet made it a great room. Buffet breakfast in morning (included in price) was very good. Omelettes made to order, fresh fruit and juices and a wide range of Burmese foods were available and tasty. A special treat of this hotel is the roof bar and restaurant. The western food was delicious... from pasta to pork chops. Lovely views of The Mandalay Palace grounds and city... I will return to New Wave Hotel on my next trip to wonderful Mandalay!!

Convenient location close to a food court. Friendly staff. Pleasant rooftop bar. Nice new rooms. Good selection of food for breakfast catering to both western and eastern tourists. Equidistant to the main sights of Mandalay and to the bus station that has buses taking you to Bagan. Great value.

Excellent hotel and location in Mandalay. Comfortable room, nice bathroom. The staff were courteous and friendly. The breakfast buffet was good. Beautiful rooftop bar with good view of the city. The wifi worked fine. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Actually, I extended my three day stay for an extra two days as I liked the hotel and all the good eating places nearby!

Très bon rapport qualité prix pour cet hôtel. Chambres confortables et spacieuses bonne literie. Terrasse sur le toit sympa. Bon petit déjeuner. Personnel super gentil, comme partout en Birmanie. La seule chose que je déconseille ce sont les chambres en dernier étage, si la situation est plus agréable, le bruit des machines à laver qui tournent jour et nuit, l’est beaucoup moins. J’ai posé la question, elles sont situées au niveau de la terrasse. On nous a tout de suite proposé une autre chambre.

Very modern and new hotel offering everything you may ask for: comfort, excellent breakfast (although I had to teach how to properly cook fried eggs 😂) and very nice staff. Minor issues like hot water in the first night or trouble with the keycard were easily forgotten when you consider how cheap this hotel is for a high level of service.

Le stanze sarebbero ampie e molto comode, ma il personale è veramente carente. Il primo giorno abbiamo avuto problemi con il check in, quasi mezz'ora, non c'era nessuno (prenotazione fatta e pagata in anticipo) . Il secondo giorno non hanno pulito la stanza e ci hanno fatto rifare il check-in. Un disastro. Colazione poco soddisfacente.

Sehr freundliches und extrem aufmerksames Personal. Das Frühstücksbuffet (wenn genügend Gäste, sonst a la card) war immer sehr lecker. Zimmer waren sauber und schön. Das Beste war die Rooftopbar, mit super Aussicht auf den Mandalay Palace!

這是一家不錯的三星級旅館，位置在皇城旅遊景點旁，有停車位。服務櫃檯等候時間尚可接受，洗衣費稍貴些，房間整理的很乾淨，早餐餐廳服務親切滿意，只是菜色少了點，樓上有觀景吧檯，每位入住者有一杯免費飲料，可在睡前紓解疲憊的心靈。我已住超過三周，推薦大家來體驗一下。 This is a good three-star hotel with parking, the hotel is located near to the Imperial Castle tourist point. Waiting time at the service counter is still acceptable, the laundry fee is slightly more expensive, the room is really clean, the breakfast restaurant service is very satisfying, but the dishes are less, the upstairs has a sky bar, and each resident has a free drink. Relieve the tired mind before going to bed. I have lived for more than three weeks and I recommend everyone to experience it.
