Warm, smiling reception, with gratis juice served while processing my checkin. This serene lodge has its origins dating back approximately 70 years ago as a German compound. It has become a mature, East African arboretum with bungalows. Want to get outside of the hotel bubble … this peaceful, gated sanctuary is for you.

Excelente en todos los aspectos

This is a lovely property, excellent for relaxing either after a long flight from overseas, or before heading back home as we did. The pool is very refreshing and has multiple deck chairs available and food is extremely delicious! All staff are incredibly kind, thoughtful and courteous and really want your stay to be perfect. The little cabins are comfortable and have everything you need. We ate all our meals here, 2X outside in the lovely beer garden. Everything was VERY delicious and extremely reasonably priced. Highly recommend staying here!

Nice stay at a reasonable rated…breakfast was fine…pool area was clean and had a nice sitting area….the room was ok…bathroom was large with a large shower

I loved this hotel and loved Marangu! Such a peaceful and beautiful small town in the mountain foothills. This hotel fit the setting perfect. Very clean and quiet. Great food and the staff was very attentive and nice.

Very nice staff. We loved the little bungalows very much. The huge garden is wonderfull. It is located 5 minutes drive from arusha nationalpark. The food is good, we whould recommend to go there.

I stayed at Meru View Londge for three nights and really enjoyed it. It’s a not luxury hotel but it is run professionally and the staff takes excellent care of the visitors. Meals are excellent.

Super clean, calm and beautiful Lodge with a delicious restaurant. A perfekt place to start and end your safari. Or - like for us - a good base for day trips to Arusha Nationalpark and Lake Manyara. The staff was super helpful and organised 2 amazing tours for us. Thanks again for having us!!

Hospitality was great, very enjoyable stay at Meru

Nice and quiet spot, just out of town, with shady gardens and pool. Rooms are basic but good. Friendly team. Safe grounds with security. Just down the road from Mt Meru NP. Breakfast provided could certainly be improved.
