My daughter, and I, were recently traveled abroad to Ghana from the USA, and we had a most wonderful experience at the Lemon Beach Resort in Elmina, Ghana. Our room was located, not in one of the huts, but on the ground floor of the main building. It was air-conditioned, and it had a clean bathroom, a lot of closet space, and it had great Wi-Fi. What was cool was that our room had sliding doors that opened up onto a porch with sitting area, to eat, read, or just take in the air. The restaurant, or dining area, was in walking distance of our room. The walk to the beach was pleasant and clean, and there was a beach bar or tiki bar near the oceanfront. Drinks were available in the dining area. The food was excellent. I had the Tilapia and Banku dish and I loved it. If you want a nice stay in the Cape Coast area, near the Cape Coast Castle, and want an affordable and delightful resort to vacation at with a partner, with a group, or with your family, please do make reservations with the Lemon Beach Resort in Elmina, Cape Coast Ghana. And please ask for GEORGE.

People and staff were great. I think their restaurant/bar can use more wait staff. A couple of times we waited a while for things to come out of the kitchen and the bar

Loved everything about Lemon Beach Resort! The staff (every single one I encountered) was amazing, so incredibly warm and friendly. The resort also referred us to our driver, Moro, who was wonderful. Moro made sure we had a good time and saw as much as possible. I'm very thankful to have met him.

Lovely pool, great service, good food and cocktails, very comfortable rooms.

The accommodations are very nice. Although it is on the beach, there is a large rock breakwater between the beach and the water. Still a nice view. Hut was very comfortable and modern.

Enjoyed several night stay in March 2025 at property in beautiful spacious room facing the ocean. Property is very beautiful with a lovely swimming pool and restaurant and bar. Ocean access is restricted by rock barrier wall. Nice bathroom but recommend bringing non slip bath mat. Floors are slippery. Great stay in a historic area.

Great property if you are looking to relax. Very quiet location. Good restaurant on property for dining and drinks. Local dancers perform on certain nights of the week. Will need a car if you want to explore the area. Beach access is about 5-7 min walk along sea wall at the neighbor property

From check-in to checkout the stay was perfect. I wish i could have stayed longer.

We loved everything. The ocean few, staff services, food, and the room was top notch! We will definitely revisit when we are coming back to Ghana.

Nr 1 experience in Ghana! We booked two nights at Lemon Beach resort and understood that we needed to extend the stay! The warm welcoming and skilled staff, the spotless clean rooms, the excellent food and the clean and calm Africa shaped pool area. Everything made it to one of the best hotels experience. The guidet bike tour in Elmina, the 1/2 day tour in Kalkum with th canopy walk made it unforgettable

Die Anlage ist insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen. Sie ist sauber, jedoch war das Wasser in der Toilette farblich auffällig, was beim ersten Mal den Eindruck erweckt, die Toilette sei nicht gereinigt worden. Aber das Wasser ist leider so. Das Servicepersonal verdient absolut die Bestnote – alle sind freundlich und engagiert. Die Essensvielfalt ist gut, besonders das täglich wechselnde Frühstücksbuffet, bei dem für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei ist. Die WLAN-Verbindung war stabil, der Pool stets sauber und trotz ausgebuchter Anlage nie überfüllt. Außerdem gibt es gute Transportmöglichkeiten zu den naheliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten. Insgesamt eine sichere und empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.

The room appeared to be clean when you enter. It smelled of water. The light switches were dirty. Hole in the comforters, paint peeling on the table. Chairs dirty. Air conditioner making knocking noise. No towels or tissues. When they did bring face towels they had body hair all over them. Feet hang off of bed. I am 5'8". Staff was very nice but didn't seem to care.
