The property works for the purpose of my visit to York. It is clean and comfortable, and literally minutes to my son’s rental. The landlord was very helpful and easily contactable for minor issues. The property is at a quiet position where it’s not facing the main road. The bus into the city centre was literally at door step so very convenient for sightseeing and shopping. Will use it again for future visit to my son and would recommend it to friends who want to visit York.

A lovely place to stay 😀 Tea, coffee, sugar and milk appreciated for a cuppa as soon as we arrived. A comfy bed and great shower. Shops and pubs just down the road plus free WiFi

Good location (about 1.5mile walk from the centre) and felt very safe. Quiet area, ground floor flat so you hear people come and go every so often but nothing more. A few good takeaways and pub serving food close by and a one stop shop for essentials. The flat itself needed "a woman's touch" as my husband pointed out, both decor wise and usability!! It felt manly, batchelor-pad like, which is fine. The mattress is definitely not memory foam as stated, very very soft and lumpy springs, just a preference thing. Overall quite clean but lots of cobwebs over the high bedroom ceiling and old thick dust falling from the doorway in the bathroom, just needed a more thorough scrub. Didn't have hot water the 1st night as the water pump had been accidentally switched off before we arrived, and WiFi didn't work. Overall we'd stay again as it's great to have a whole apartment and great communication from Samuel to sort any issues.

The entire experience was truly wonderful from beginning to end. Some highlights of our stay at Ye Olde Apartments were: - excellent, personable, timely, flexible, and hospitable communication with Apartment manager. - stellar location with free parking and accessible to the city center, plus easy access to public transportation - clean and sufficient amenities - beautiful and comfortable living environment We would definitely return to Ye Olde Apartments again!
