Adorei o estilo do hotel mantendo as instalações no estilo antigo da epoca da dona porem com reformulações atuais. O atendimento foi impecável: cheguei mais cedo e fui muito bem recebida. Me ofereceram cafe, agua, suco. Arrumaram o meu quarto o mais rapido que puderam mesmo antes do horário do check-in. Todos os funcionários eram muito simpáticos. Precisei fazer o check-out na madrugada, o que nao foi o menor problema. Solicitei um small breakfast to go e recebi no meu quarto um breakfast extremamente caprichado e feito com o maior cuidado, simplesmente impecável. A localização é excelente, o quarto amplo, limpo e a TV com varios canais. É um dos melhores hoteis que ja fiquei em relação ao conjunto. Super indico e se um dia voltar a Bucareste, é onde irei ficar novamente. Estão de parabéns.

Clean room

The sign outside the hotel is very small and placed on a wall. I spend an hour and an extra taxi ride because I thought I had come to the wrong place. Friendly welcome at the reception and the room was just ok. Same goes with the breakfast: good coffee but there was no fresh bread and the pastries were industrial products wrapped in plastic from the factory. Will choose another option should I ever need to come back to Bucharest.

Everything was great, very close to the old town, area without noise, and the staff very friendly. The room was great and spacious taking also into consideration our teens needs. My only recommendation is related to the breakfast served. Croissants could be fresh and not the ones in plastic bag with preservatives, the cereals could be in nice jars and not in the supermarket packaging, the cheese, ham and vegetables could be sliced better. This would improve the aesthetic of the buffet.

Small reception area and has to press the bell to notify of my presence. I booked a single room and size is alright, not very big, It has a mini-fridge, Coffee making facility and tele. There is no safe deposit box provided. Just one thing to comment about the shower room, the design is slightly weird. With only one glass perspex panel, water gets to splash out the other way. Has to use floor towel to contain the water. Breakfast selection is not too bad (could be better), guest can request from the menu of a selection of cooked breakfast. Overall, the day was pleasant and within walking distance to shops, cafes, restaurants and Universitate Metro Station.

This hotel had a rarity in Europe....a comfortable bed. The room was quiet and of a very good size. The shower was large and had great hot water. The AC kept the room quite cold during the heatwave. The elevator was also great to have. The staff was superb! The breakfast was good and even had made to order eggs. Great location to walk to old town. The area was quiet and seemed quite safe. Parking was the only drawback as it is on the street. It is possible to park on the sidewalk to get your car mostly out of the street. I would stay again without hesitation.

The hotel is the old home of a famous Romanian family. So the rooms are big and the ceilings are high...unusual for Europe. The included breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly despite some language uncertainty. The hotel is located not far from the old town in an area that appears to being redeveloped. We had a great stay.

This place is a gem. It's so close to downtown yet very sheltered from the high traffic areas. Staff was so amazing and the room was cozy and clean. Breakfast was great, lots of options. This place didn't really feel like a hotel but more like a home away from home. I met the owners as well. Very hands on and friendly. I also me the new mascot of the hotel, a kitty recently adopted by the hotel staff after someone dropped him in their front yard. I hope he stays and he's going to be well taken care of. I think this would be just another detail to make the hotel guests feel at home. :)

The place is in an excellent location. Big rooms and clean.

Nous avons passé un séjour de 11 nuits dans cet hôtel. Un très bon emplacement 5min du métro Université. Le personnel est très accueillant, disponible et toujours prêt à aider. Possibilité de commander des plats et de les manger en terrasse à l'hôtel. La réceptionniste est exceptionnelle dans sa gentillesse. Le petit déjeuner mériterait d'être un peu étoffé. Mais les omelettes sont exceptionnelles. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cet établissement.

Very spacious room with high ceilings, but no safe, broken hairdryer and periodically slow internet. The location is close to the old town, but a bit run down. Included breakfast was hearty, but there were lighter choices a well.

Wonderful experience all around

I stayed at this hotel for the second time and I greatly enjoyed it. The hotel is well located, close to University metro station, small shops and visiting sites. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. There is a mini fridge and tea kettle in the room. The staff was really warm and friendly. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Very clean

This is a beautiful property which has been thoughtfully turned into a hotel in an area that is mostly residential (though adjacent to Court of Justice). Short walk to major business and dining areas. Continental or cooked breakfast included -- both very good.
