Hotel Grazia alla Scannella è uno di quei luoghi che ti rimangono nel cuore. Un ringraziamento speciale al direttore, che con professionalità e grande umanità riesce a creare un’atmosfera familiare e serena in tutta la struttura. La colazione è ricca, curata e con prodotti freschi di qualità, mentre la cucina rappresenta uno dei veri punti di forza dell’hotel: piatti genuini, ben preparati e spesso legati alla tradizione ischitana, serviti con un’attenzione che fa davvero la differenza. Un soggiorno che unisce ospitalità autentica, ottima cucina e una gestione impeccabile. Consigliatissimo.

The property is outside Forio and you are heavily dependent on their shuttle schedule, unless you are ready to spend between 40 to 60 euro round trip by taxi. I think they had a shuttle coming back to the property at 7:30 pm and the next one at 11 pm, so before booking really think where you plan to spend time the most. If it is the hotel, then this may be your best option.

Amazing views, a nice pool area, free use of the spa, small room but AC worked nicely.

Outstanding in beauty, staff, facilities and every detail! Excellent services, delicious food with literally hundreds of options. The view was stunning, the bed was comfortable, the room was perfect— get the jr suite for the huge patio with a view of the cliff and sea. We read in the garden, we swam in the pools, and soaked in the tubs of thermal waters. We made friends and got to know the staff— the army of servers were so attentive. There were people of all ages that we celebrated with at the Saturday night “banquet” where one of the gentlemen sung. The free breakfast was huge. — so many choices that I worry about them making a profit. How can they give so much and hire so many? The spa services were also great. Everything was top level but at a small price. Back home, this lodging would be 5 times the price. This hotel Grace is a hidden gem! The shuttle was on time except when I made them late once. Sorry. Pay attention to where they will pick you up after your adventure. We saw so much of the island but also wanted to just relax at the resort. It was a 5-star experience at a lesser price. We hope to return someday.

We booked it as it was rated very high with positive reviews. In reality it is a mixed bag with some positives and some disappointing things as well. Our room was called a "Superior", however there was nothing Superior. No coffee machine, no kettle, no iron, not even a complimentary water. Instead, it was just small fridge with drinks. I was explained that fridge is reserved for "pay for" drinks and that own drinks will incur extra charge. Breakfast is exact same every single day and very basic, definitely not 4 star level. Dinner is for set price only and all drinks, wine is extra. So, if you want just a glass of wine and local fish it is not possible to order. Instead, you are charged 35/40€ pp for all you can eat type of dinner. Location is nice and clean though with nice views. Staff is friendly and helpful. It just is a pity that few little things and their strange terms weren't to my satisfaction.

Beautiful room, great breakfast and surrounded by natures beauty

This was the most beautiful place with breath taking views! The staff was wonderful and helpful and the place was spotless. So clean! We had dinner there and even that was phenomenal. We will definitely return to this wonderful hotel.

Amazing food, courteous staff

This hotel is in an iconic location on the island. Its design feels like a retreat, and the staff are so kind and authentic. There are a wonderful number of pools of all temperatures, surrounded by wonderful views. Hotel offers some activities, including Yoga and special dinner events which are very enjoyable. The food is also delicious. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place very friendly staff I highly recommended it

This is a hidden gem. Tucked away along the coastline of Ischia, this place is a very relaxing and quiet resort type of hotel. The food is off the charts delicious. Would highly recommend. The sunset is straight out of a movie.

Very nice hotel and location. Great staff. Fitness machines need to be upgraded or otherwise fixed. Restuarant choices at the hotel were not our preference due to a lack of atmosphere. Shuttle is a good but could have more return options from Forio at night.

Staff is excellent. Shuttle service is free and will take you to surrounding areas and they will arrange to pick you up. Really convenient. Breakfast is included, and the multiple restaurants in the hotel are excellent. Pool and view from rooms..incredible. Rooms are clean.

Beautiful property

This is a beautiful hotel situated high above the sea. The pool area is so beautiful. Our balcony room faced a beautiful sunset each night. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The front desk went out of their way to help us with shuttles, ferries and all are needs. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast and the fabulous restaurants. The bar area is lovely and the drinks and music so nice each evening. There is a beautiful spa. We absolutely loved our stay here. Defiantly would go back!

Beautiful views, excellent food and wonderful staff and good facilities (although dated). The problem is the location, without some sort of transportation, its very difficult to see the island, and taxis are quite pricey. That being said, the hotel does offer an hourly shuttle to forio port and citara beach.

Gorgeous hotel, friendly and attentive staff. A unique experience to find, but worth the effort.

This property was incredible from the views to the staff to the food. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend this property
