I had a great stay at Giellajohka. The cabin did not disappoint. It was comfortable and well equipped, and had a beautiful view of the river. The location was perfect because it allowed for day trips to other areas of Lapland. The only downside was that there were 2 camping caravans that parked about 1 meter from the cabin for 1 night and they disrupted the peacefulness of the stay. Luckily, they were only there for 1 day.

Olimme erittäin tyytyväisiä. Perusmökki oli mukavan kodikas ja kaikki tarpeellinen löytyi. Hieno näkymä joelle. Ravintolan ruoka oli herkullista. Koko paikassa mukava ja rento tunnelma.

The place was perfect BUT because the rooms are by a shared kitchen and lounge it means noisy people were chatting after midnight and others up early making food. So there was only 5 hours where it was quiet enough to sleep. Also the whole building stinks of garlic and whatever guests cook or 'smoke'. Shame as it is otherwise superb

Een geweldige ervaring om hier te mogen zijn, wat een schitterend huis en een fantastische plek. Zeer schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Vanuit bed kijk je op de rivier, hoe mooi. Fijne eigenaar. Lekker gegeten in restaurant, top.

Typisch lappländisch, Unterkunft ok. Betreiber sehr zuvorkommend . Zu erwähnen wäre aber, dass das Haus alleine weit außerhalb der Ortschaft Inari liegt.

We did not use the ski slopes or their spa services since our flight came in at 6pm. We were able to check in about 30 minutes before 9pm so we were able to just go straight into our lodging and start relaxing and enjoying the views. In the morning, we were able to see that there was an reindeer farm next to us and were able to take photos of them. Their buffet breakfast was delicious. Although they did not have an overwhelming selection, but what they put out was absolutely divine and delicious.

Paikassa oli ihana tunnelma ja ruoka oli maittavaa! Pihassa on sauna ja avanto, sekä hyviä ulkoilureittejä ja hiihtoladut. Nautittiin Lapin rauhasta ja elämänrytmistä.

A great place to stay if you want to see Aurora! It’s so far from any city so you get the full dark sky here, even the weakest aurora would be so vivid in this place. They have a WhatsApp group so everyone on site can share information if they see aurora. The place has a restaurant and the foods are amazing with a reasonable price! Plenty of activities you can do on site as well. Recommend to stay minimum 3/4 nights. My first 2 nights were cloudy but 3rd night was one of the best auroras in my trip.

Extremely friendly staff. Perfect location for aurora and all winter activities.

Je déplore toutefois qu’on nous ait vendu une chambre comme une cabine (la photo est celle d’une cabine avec vue sur lac mais on a eu qu’un apart avec aucune vue sur l’eau qui d’ailleurs est un étang et non un lac) et de plus ma recherche était pour Inari, l’affichage dit qu’elle se trouve à Inari, alors qu’elle est à 45 minutes d’Inari et qu’on a donc dû revenir sur nos pas. On nous a dit que c’était hôtel.com qui faisait sa vente ainsi et non eux. Malgré une belle chambre et une belle accueil, c’ st un peu décevant.

Best for northern light viewing in the area, with extremely friendly and helpful owner/staff make this place easily get the best rating for the place to stay.

イナリの街から、だいぶ遠いですが、車で行けば問題ありません。場所は相当北に位置してオーロラを見るには一番コスパがいいと思います。日本での言うキャンプ場にロッジが併設されている感じの場所です。

Yövyimme Giellajohkassa ennen Kevon kanjonin vaellusta. Paikassa oli mukava tunnelma ja miljöö oli viihtyisä. Uusi visiitti kelpaisi!
