a serene place to stay in complete comfort. Wonderful spa area with Finnish sauna, steam room, 60 degrees sauna, ice shower and an indoor pool with translucent roof and walls. You must see it yourself and take a swim. Breakfast is opulent and abundant, but not cheap (€60 per person as on 24.08.2025).

This is absolutely one of the best hotels in the world without question. Room staff facility bkfst parking location all in a one stop fantastic package.

Beautiful property and amazing welcoming staff!

Absolutely top rate. Beautifully designed and styled with respect for the history of the buildings. Superb attention to detail. Refreshingly individual. Peaceful. Superb service.

We stayed at Botanic Sanctuary, for our five year wedding anniversary. I wanted to experience this hotel for a long time now and finally that weekend was here. However, there were a couple of things that shocked us. First of all, at check-out they charged us €130 for valet parking. Which is strange, because we came with public transport. Secondly at restaurant Fine Fleur, they charged an extra wine arrangement and a non-alcoholic drink (total almost €80), we didn’t consume. The waiter told us that he made a mistake, but no apologies or anything from his side. To top it off they also tried to charge us for an extra cocktail at Henry’s bar (total €20). At this point it, it feels like they are intentionally trying to rip us off, by charging things we did not have/consume. In the room there was only one bathrobe and one pair of slippers, even though it was booked for two persons. At breakfast the first day, we did not get the attention we deserve. The old man serving us, did not look like he was happy to be there. Plates are not taken away and we actively had to ask for a second round of tea and coffee. This experience was not what we expected from a 5-star hotel in this price range. No apologies from anyone or anything for the inconvenience. We are really disappointed.

Hotel was great. The spa facilities are excellent. We did not have breakfast or dinner at the hotel as their are so many restaurants and cafés nearby.

Super lage

The hotel’s architecture is stunning and adds so much character to the experience. The location is unbeatable—close to everything yet peaceful enough to unwind. The highlight, however, was the fabulous spa facilities available to all guests. Relaxing, luxurious, and immaculately maintained—it was a true retreat. I definitely recommend for anyone looking for a mix of style & relaxation. The staff were great, especially the young lady that checked us in & tried to find packing tape for me!!!

Top hotel op een top lokatie met uitstekende faciliteiten.

The property is fantastic. It is rich in history, it is really beautiful, and well maintained. The staff is great. There are so many options for food and bar, and although several were closed during the winter holiday, it was still great with what they had. The location is very central and convenient to walk to old town, and new areas as well. Honestly, I would come back anytime.

Botanic levert altijd een mooie ervaring. Het was druk (kerstmis) dus het ontbijt was een beetje gehaast voor het personeel. De persoonlijke aandacht was minder dan op voorgaande bezoeken. Maar van de grote kamer, valet parkeren en service algemeen erg genoten.

Obviously they did not have enough people at the hotel. No one pick up the phone and we had to wait more than one hour to receive our luggage. Restaurants and the bar was fully occupied . The location was good and comfortable.

Dit hotel is prachtig verbouwd. De combinatie tussen oud en nieuw is erg mooi geworden. We hebben genoten van de prachtige kamer, heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt en de faciliteiten van de Spa. Helemaal ontspannen!
