More than adequate parking. Bar was well stocked. The room was clean but not very well maintained. The fridge in the room was very noisy and we had to switch it off in the middle of the night. There was an issue with the floor by the side of the bed which caused me to trip and fall. This needs to be repaired properly. The staff were friendly.

The room was very small although a fridge was provided which was useful. The room just fitted a double bed with room for I’ve person to move around at a time. The room and bathroom were however very clean. Had to turn the fridge off overnight as the mouse kept us awake.

Perfect spot for our stay in the area. Cabin had everything we needed and the staff at the pub were welcoming and made us feel right at home. Worth stopping in for food too!

The Pirate Inn was the perfect place for our stop overs in Penzance before and after our holiday in the Isles of Scilly. Check-in was easy and we were made to feel extremely welcome by all the staff. The pods in the grounds were well equipped and extremely clean and comfortable. We had an excellent experience.

Everything you need for an overnight stay..Very comfortable and clean.. Not sure if fans are available as luckily we had one in the boot . We enjoyed our stay prior to Scilly Isles holiday and again on the return

Værelset var ok til prisen. Stedet var uryddeligt og der var fyldt med alverdens ting på gangen. Udenfor lå tomme dåser og det virkede ikke særlig imødekommende. Der var intet personale da vi skulle tjekke ud.

It was nice to be self contained with parking right outside. You could walk into the town and the room had good provisions.

Just a quick stay for us, was clean, comfortable and easy parking. Just what was needed, thanks.

We felt very welcome and ar home

No where to put clothes apart from a loose drooping pole protuding from the wall with 2 hangers and a hook on back of bathroom door. Bed is a foot off of the floor with space underneath. This large gap under the bed has not been cleaned for a while as a lot of dust and dirt visible. Fridge mould seen where shelf connects to shelf. Room/cabin not serviced daily, towels and t towell are left in room to last the number of nights staying. Toiletries left in room sparse, hand soap on ration, bottle only filled with half inch of soap. This was experienced during both our stays here. Staff friendly enough and notes left they will replenish anything that runs out but you don't want to have run away to find replenishments.

Small but very adequate room and very cheap. Great for a one night stay before the ferry journey to the Isles of Scilly. Food in the pub good and reasonably priced. Bed comfortable and only downside- no hot water supply to washbasin. Never mind, I thought, warm a kettle of water! But oh dear, a double whammy- the sink plug isn’t sealed properly and all the water drains away as fast as you pour! However, shower in bath works well. All in all pretty decent.

Room was ideal with a small double bed and a single, was very clean, and was excellent value for the money. However, the curtain in the shower was too short and the lip on the edge of the shower was too low. As a result water went all over the bathroom floor.

An old building but the rooms were good. Parking was easy. You can walk into town in about 15-20 minutes - reasonably effort with some slight inclines and the lovely walk using Love Lane right next door.

We stayed there on Saturday 27th June (mazy day) the room was clean and spacious, the staff were friendly and that evening there was live music from a local band so all in all a very nice stay tho I did find the bar prices a bit expensive 🤔

We stayed in one of the pods. Well designed and well kept - perfect
