Nice hotel, nice bar staff, enjoyed our stay

The room was clean and tidy we had a leak in room reported but no one came to look at it .so was driping for quite a while

Suffocating room with a Very bad smell, I requested them to change the room but the best they could do was a air freshener. Luckily I was able to cancel my stay and get a refund. But wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Quite a dated hotel, had the basic amenities, quite a small shower and creaky floor, difficult to navigate around the hotel. Staff were friendly

Little issue with the room when we arrived. Resolved straightaway. Only when you have problems do you find out how good the staff are. Bravo. Our 3rd visit and it will not be our last.

All great! Parking, staff, service, clean, pool swim. However my room was a little shabby around the window and it was very warm but the window could only be opened about 5 inches! Breakfast was the freshest and best quality English breakfast I have had for a long time!

Always loved this quirky, old building, different levels down one corridor etc...

Everyone and everything

The hotel was outdated and needed some money spending on the decor, the room had a great view yes, but the windows mouldy, the bathroom was tiny and the shower cubicle was also so small you couldn’t wash your feet. Thread bare carpet and dated furniture, I would not stay here again, not value for money.

Nice refurbished sea view room. Heating on constantly and couldn't turn off so very warm

Staff friendly and helpful. The room was small, we did have two dogs so perhaps that limits the rooms that can be used.

The room was clean, towels and sheets, they can be changed you just need to ask. The staff were busy at first, we didn’t know it was a rally weekend so scooters everywhere the week before we believe it was a WRC rally, so you’ve got to hand it to the hotels they work hard, the hospitality industry don’t get enough credit. The breakfasts were always hot and just what you need before a walk, sightseeing and visiting different places. If you want to pay 5* prices go to the premier inn, if you on a budget, it’s a great little place to stay, to add to the years holidays. At a comfortable cost.
