At check in was advised that reservation was cancel due to elevator been out and no other access for wheelchair since room on 4th floor. Then advise check other hotels.

No hot water. Elevator was down, so they booked a family of 5 with all their luggage on the 4th floor. Stairwell was filled with spiders. They had no extra linens for the sofa bed. Took 25 minutes to check in because the clerk was on their cell phone. Passive aggressive signage all over the hotel indicating there disdain for quality customer service.

This property is very nice, fairly new, however the hotel is located on the service road off of I35 and you need to pass thru another business before you get to the hotel. The amazon warehouse is right behind the property and you can hear their trucks coming in and out and that made it very difficult to sleep.

Front desk terrible and rude lady even fought me for a parking space because I think she was late for work.

The staff was perfect and amazing. However, several issues came up. There was a burned out bulb in our room, the door wouldnt open or latch shut sometimes. Additonally, the tv remote was missing, the elevator feels like its about to break constantly and doesnt come to the upper floors after midnight for some reason. And our key cards stopped working two days before check out. This combined with the large amounts of construcrion that literally blocks most of the access to and from the hotel made it less than ideal.

The room was fine and clean; the area is industrial and loud because it is so close to the highway

No hot water for the shower and maintenance needed on tub and faucets

The bath tub in my room had mildew and/or mold. I was not able to take a shower. The hotel had no other rooms available so I was stuck. They told me to ask Hotels.com for a partial refund as I made the reservation through them but then they refused to allow Hotels.com to issue a partial refund. Terrible stay.

The stay at this location was good. It was quiet and convenient. The only complaint I have is that I booked a King size bed but was given a queen size bed. Also, the room did not have a remote for the tv the entire stay. Other than that, everything was good.

Room was a bit ran down. Even though my daughter had to use her room key to enter the hotel...the front desk lady gave her a hard time and accused her of not being a guest. Very rude.

Good it was the first time staying with you.The lady on the front desk was great. I asked her about close restaurants that have good food and she pointed me to the right place

Clean location, no eating establishments within walking distance was kind of a bad deal.

I had an awesome stay here in Schertz. This Candlewood is amazing. The bed was great. Awesome pillows. It was quiet.my room was by the entrance alongside the reception desk and it was surprisingly not loud whatsoever. The young Lady whom I forgot to get her name, was Awesome! Very attentive and gave me the rundown on the operation of the "store" if you will. They have free coffee 24/7. In a day and time where nothing is free...it was here! This is a great place to stay if you're into staying in a clean, quiet, very comfortable beds, type of place, well this is it. Definitely will make it a point to visit again.
