Locatie rustig maar midden in het historische centrum. Appartement was al schoon toen we om 12:30 aankwamen en we konden gelijk in het appartement met twee slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Fijne communicatie met de eigenaar. Goede bedden en fijn dat er keuken in zit. We misten alleen een goede anti aanbak (wok)pan, wat kleine bakjes, keukendoek en theedoek. Wasmachine is ook erg fijn. Jammer dat ons appartement geen balkon of patio had. Maar we hebben een geweldig mooie vakantie gehad op een prachtige locatie.

Beyond basic - whilst I appreciate it was a self-catering apartment, and I didn’t expect any luxuries e.g bottled water or toiletries that lasted more than one shower, I did expect better basics like mor than one tiny travel size dish soap bottle and more than one bin bag. The apartment isn’t serviced, but there’s nothing provided to help you clean yourself, except instructions to empty the bins which are situated to blocks away. We had a 5 month baby with us and whilst the cot facility was a good standard, the apartment wasn’t particularly clean (dirty surfaces) and no means to clean it yourself. Fine if you don’t expect to spend much time there but don’t expect comfort if you do.

Our trip to Málaga was wonderful, but unfortunately our stay at Atenea Málaga Apartments significantly impacted the experience. The location was excellent within walking distance of the historic center, restaurants, and attractions. Check-in was straightforward, and communication before arrival was good. Unfortunately, the apartment itself was extremely uncomfortable. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, and overall the apartment did not provide the level of comfort we expected. What was most disappointing was the lack of support from the property after we reported the issues. We only stayed 1 of our 9 nights with this property and had to pay for another hotel and this hotel never refunded our money. Málaga itself is an amazing destination. We especially loved visiting Nerja, which was the highlight of our trip. The beaches were beautiful, the town was peaceful, and it offered a much more relaxing atmosphere than the city. We would absolutely return to the Costa del Sol. For future trips, however, we'll likely choose a Marriott or Hilton property instead of a vacation rental. Having on-site staff available to address issues in real time provides much greater peace of mind than relying on a remote property manager. I would recommend Málaga without hesitation, but I cannot recommend this property based on our experience.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft. Das Apartment war sehr groß, sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Besonders die Klimaanlage hat hervorragend funktioniert, was bei den Temperaturen in Málaga ein großer Pluspunkt war. Die Lage ist ebenfalls ideal – sehr zentral, sodass viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Geschäfte bequem zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Todo estuvo correcto, algún pequeño detalle (que estaba acostumbrada a encontrar en los otros apartamentos en que estado) pero todo correcto. La chica nos ayudo mucho en dudas que tuvimos. Gracias 😊

The location is great, in downtown but in a quiet place. The apartment needs some maintenance, the walls need some paint and the baseboards some deep cleaning. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed is very comfortable. Our shower didn't have a door so the splashing in the bathroom area was a problem. The apartment didn't have any hand soap, dish detergent or extra garbage bags.

Good location. Washer but no dryer. Fee if any toiletries provided and no laundry detergent. Host dismissive on this point.

Wonderful communication from the host. Always quickly responsive. Very clean, well located building. Loved the “outdoor” feel of the building. Without checking, I’d assumed that the balcony would look at something other than the street/another building a short distance away. But that was my error. Really lovely stay!

Clean and big room. Gute Lage

Communication was difficult because I didn’t have WiFi. Angel, the manager, lived up to his name and came over to let me in. The apartment was beautiful, location was great. Loved our stay!!

It is nice apartment in a good location, just on the edgebof historic center but really clise to everything. In a newly renovated building with a lot of apartments, we got the on in the base floor, it was ok, decently clean (not pristine) most of amenities on hand, but the biggest downside is a just a little bit of smell due to dampness. Parking not so easy to find unless you pay for the garage, the closes we found was 15 mjns away. Location is definitely the highlight of this place. P.s. it has an inner terrace that we have not tried out. Check in instructions go via whatsapp and the communication and welcoming was on level and prompt.

Está bien para una noche. Nos tocó el apartamento en la planta baja, es decir, nada más entrar al edificio, llegabas al apartamento. La ventana da hacia la calle, por lo que estuvimos todo el tiempo con las persianas cerradas ya que no cuenta con alguna cortina delgada o algo para tener privacidad. Literalmente, la gente de la calle nos veía en la cocina/salón. La habitación donde se quedaron mis padres no tenía puerta, todo era abierto. El baño está bien, con puerta corrediza. Por lo demás, creo que está bien con lo que hemos pagado. Lo que no me gustó fue que estuve esperando a que me llegara algún mensaje para realizar el check in, rellenar los datos y todo eso que se suele hacer previo a llegar, pero nunca me llegó, así que tuve que llamar al teléfono que facilitaron y contactarme para que nos dejaran ingresar al edificio, rellenar los datos y hacer el check in, lo que nos entretuvo unos 15 min hasta poder salir.

Property is very clean and modern at great location. Host was very helpful. We arrived very early and were able to use lockers in the foyer to store our luggage.
