Great location for ascot only a short taxi journey away, quiet peaceful classy location

No AC , tired rooms. Helpful staff.

Note not all rooms have aircon and those that don’t only have cheap ineffective fans. Communal areas are also unbearably hot in the warm weather

A decent hotel for a few nights stay to attend Ascot. As with most hotels in the UK thought that are based in older buildings, the recent heatwave meant the room felt stuffy, making it difficult to sleep. That being said, the staff were helpful and shower was fantastic. The hotel is within beautiful grounds, probably could do more with their incredible outside space, and also keep more on top of the cleanliness of the common areas.

Great stay, reception and bar staff were amazing and made the stay better, couldn’t do enough for me and my son, definitely will be visiting again.

This hotel is always an excellent stay however, on this occasion the breakfast was cold and looked somewhat tired.

The staff deserve a better hotel, if it was not for the welcoming staff that will cater to all our needs we would not have stayed. The hotel is dated, dirty room and communal areas, the grounds outside are not looked after and the carpets are very dirty and there is no notice that the swimming pool is closed which is a huge shame.

Lovely room with air con and a fridge. Two good sized double beds and staff were friendly providing good service. The bathroom is a little shabby but clean. The breakfast was lovely and I would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Everything was ready upon arrival with nothing a problem with cot and sterilisation of our baby's milk bottles.

Beautiful location, with great Carparking. Unfortunately I didn’t get the breakfast I paid for as they didn’t serve until after 7 and I needed to be on the road by that time so may have been my fault not treading the small print

Gorgeous hotel. Stayed in junior suite as family of 5. Plenty of room. Great breakfast and service from staff. Would highly recommend.

Great location. Checkin was very friendly. The room was nice but the finish wasn't great - needed some maintenance. Things like the taps were badly peeling, the shower tray was heavily stained which makes it feel unclean. Bed was comy enough and we had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was nice this morning and 12pm checkout time is great!

Great location and huge hotel. Booked it for my son’s birthday as we were going to Legoland the next day. Room was a great size but very hot due to the weather - no air con in the rooms so hotel had provided fans but the plugs were on the other side of the room so fans couldn’t reach us in bed - needless to say we had a very poor nights sleep. Equally problematic was the lack of plug sockets near or by the bed - there weren’t any, So we couldn’t charge phones or devices, nor could we use the room’s mini fridge to keep water cold because the fans were using up all free sockets. Also disappointed to discover that the swimming pool was closed the previous month for over 6 months - one of the main reasons I booked this hotel was for the pool. Not once did we receive communication that it would be closed during our stay. However staff were super friendly and kind to my son especially, and the breakfast we had was good. Overall hotel is nice, just some key things let it down

The houseplants in the conservatory hadn't seen water in weeks! Food was mediocre. I was in an accessible room. The facilities were not accessible. eg there was a bath not a wetroom. Handles in the bathroom were not lever handles. Towels had been left 5 feet up!

Quiet spacious room, very clean, staff were very helpful and welcoming (including to our small children). The bathroom needs some updating but the room itself was good. Breakfast buffet was very good.

Staff were really helpful and the food in the restaurant was fantastic.
