Water drains so slowly after shower. It takes almost 40 minutes

Requested for firm pillow, but never come. Room has no tag to put “do not disturb”, so you have housekeeping knocking on the door at 8 plus in the morning.

Pretty Lousy service. slow check-in, no slippers, no free early check-in, no tap to pay. Will not be coming back...

I had an amazing stay at the Hampton Inn and couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming. They provided exceptional service throughout my stay via the messaging function. The room was spotless, comfortable and well-maintained making it the perfect place to relax after exploring the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable all the while the hotel had a great atmosphere and the complimentary breakfast was a wonderful added touch with a great selection of options. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend anyone visiting the city!

It was great having breakfast included! Parking was easy to find and attached directly to the hotel. Location was convenient and close to everything. Pool and hot tub were well maintained and gave us something to do to unwind.

Clean room. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Perfect spot 7 minutes walk to the old Montreal and the old port. The breakfast was excellent.

We stayed at Hampton Inn Montreal Downtown for two nights and were disappointed with the service. Parking is not included. We were told hotel guests would pay $32, but the receptionist entered our licence plate incorrectly, so we were charged again every time we left the garage. A refund was processed at checkout, but the staff member was not friendly. The room had a full kitchenette but only one chair and no dining table. I had to eat at the vanity while my husband used the bedside table. There were also very few towels, although more were provided when requested. Breakfast was included. Before arriving, I informed the hotel that I have allergies to gluten, dairy, soy and paprika. I was told to speak with the breakfast staff. One employee was kind, but the kitchen supervisor was rude and dismissive. She said everything contained gluten. When I asked whether the oat milk was gluten-free, she said she would check, but after a long wait she only repeated that everything had gluten. We did not eat any of the included breakfast. It was disappointing to pay for breakfast when there was not even one clearly identified safe option. The location was convenient, but because of the service, parking problems, impractical room setup and lack of allergy-friendly options, we would not recommend this hotel.

The room was huge, beds were comfortable, pillows were ok. Free breakfast was good but very busy. The restaurant in the hotel didn't appeal to my family so we didn't try it. We would stay here again.

The room was very clean. I couldn’t even find a speck of dust. As soon as we got there, I wiped everything down with Lysol wipes, and then I felt very comfortable for the rest of this stay. We had a double queen room, and it wasn’t very big, but it had a vanity, a large television, and lots of storage. The washroom was a great size, with lots of counter space, and the shower was really nice, with spa showerheads. The hotel is very conveniently located, within walking distance from Old Montreal and a very short drive from the Bell Centre if you’re going for a concert, etc. Security is pretty good as well as you have to use your room key in the elevator to access the floors. The rooftop pool and hot tub are really nice and they have fireplaces around as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast had a very wide variety of food. On site underground parking was $32 a day with in and out privileges so that was perfect.

hotel was great, location is good. If you have a full sized SUV and US plates prepare to have your CAR STOLEN from the parking lot under the hotel. It has happened multiple times recently. This is not a hotel thing just a warning for Montreal in general.

A/C stopped working. No one came to repair. Free breakfast is woefully undersized based on the hotel occupancy. Check in required us to wait 5 minutes. We were left standing waiting for 15 minutes after check in was complete. Ridiculous.

Breakfast good

Rooms were great - very clean and quiet for being in the downtown area. Breakfast did not have a great setup and was always extremely busy - and not much available for those with dietary restrictions. Also, the pool area was very misleading from the photos - it was very small and limited space (we could not use it during our visit). It was in a great location for exploring the city and underground parking was a bonus!

Great location for visiting old Montreal.

Clean room and comfortable stay. Shower pressure was good and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was crowded and average. Staff service is inconsistent.
