extremely nice, fantastic location

Was travel with husband, daughter and college bond granddaughter through Germany and Netherlands. In December my husband and I had stayed at Eisenhut and knew this is the place I wanted to stay again. The location is so convenient and the staff are amazing. We stayed both times in the building across from the main building. We love the old world charm of that building and the comfortable sitting areas. Hope to stay there again.

It was a beautiful hotel. Well located. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Lots of choices, well prepared and fresh. Room was spacious and bathroom was large.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Eisenhut. Lovely room (we upgraded on arrival to a slightly bigger room for extra), very clean and comfortable. Lovely friendly staff who happily provided a neck pillow for me as I have back issues as pillows were too soft. A nice bar area with snacks and drinks available, outside seating was lovely. Very conveniently located in a beautiful area, easy to get to everything, 10 min walk from the train station and close to everything you need. Highly recommend

We wanted to stay in an authentic and historic town centre hotel for our trip to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. This certainly ticks that box. We were given the room which Winston Churchill apparently stayed in once….it was spacious and had a nice view. Overall the hotel was good value but there was some noise ‘leakage’ from corridors and other surrounding rooms but we put this down to being such an old building…we’d stay again though. Staff were friendly and helpful but this was not really during the height of the tourist season so the hotel was quite quiet.

Excellent service

The property was well located & clean. Staff at check in were not very friendly & a bit rude. Other than one person who was originally from Turkey the rest of the staff was pretty unfriendly. Other than that our stay was comfortable.

Great location. Breakfast substantial and staff cordial. Property could use some small updates, but for the money and location, I recommend.

Quaint town - hotel has lots of character. Hotel in close walkable location. Room was very cute, clean and bright. Loved balcony 😊

I was a bit disappointed with the view from the room. While I could choose the room size and amenities when booking, there was no option to select the view. Since I stayed for two nights, it would have been even better if I could enjoy a great view from the sofa after a long day of walking around the city. Additionally, thank you for the prompt response in accommodating an extra guest.

We had a lovely stay that exceeded our expectations. The hotel couldn’t be in a better location. The rooms were very clean.

This hotel was wonderful, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Beautiful view, balcony, clean, and quiet rooms. Right next to the main square, very convenient.

The location was lovely and the room was nice. I was charged twice for a drink — I paid cash but was then told I had charged it to my room, and given I had a train to catch I didn’t have time to argue — but that was the only real hiccup. Otherwise, I world recommend.

Stunning hotel with incredible food where many famous people have stayed including Winston Churchill and royalty. We visited during a quiet time for them so the bar and restaurant were empty but the aesthetics and location of this charming spot cannot be beat! Be aware that parking is not next to the hotel so only watch out is you need to park a good bit away but it’s €7 a day
